Beautiful Home with Incredible Views and Thoughtful Amenities
My cousins and I stayed at this lake house on Lake Hamilton during the last weekend of July, and it was a fantastic setting for our family gathering. The house is spacious, beautifully furnished, and the bedrooms were all very comfortable and well appointed. We especially appreciated the multiple common areas throughout the home, which made it easy to spend quality time together without ever feeling cramped.One of the biggest highlights was the kitchen — it was by far the best-stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen in a short-term rental. From cutlery and cookware to serving ware and extras you usually have to bring yourself, we lacked for nothing (except a digital thermometer and Dutch oven, which we ended up buying and leaving for future guests). It made cooking for a large group easy and enjoyable, and we only ate out once!The massive deck offered stunning views of the lake — we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the scenery without ever needing to go down to the water. That said, the home does have lake access with a dock and kayaks available, but it’s a bit of a trek and requires use of the provided side-by-side. For our large group, it wasn’t the most convenient setup, but the deck more than made up for it.The host was very responsive and open to the constructive feedback we shared (like a few burnt-out lightbulbs and minor maintenance issues).
