Wonderful country home

My friends and I loved staying on this property right outside Round Top. Plenty of space for a large group and everything you could need for a great time. The kitchen had plenty of glassware & dishes, along with everything you’d need to cook. The home was thoughtfully & creatively decorated which made it feel more like a home. The pool was great to cool off in and the property was so peaceful. I would definitely go back.

Antique Charmer

If you are looking for a place that has all of the antique character of Round Top plus its own private pool then look no further. My family and I enjoyed a delightful stay at this unique property that was an easy drive from Houston. This was the perfect spot for out multi-generational clan - with beds and space for everyone. We spent the days in the pool and then gathered around the long dinning table for our nightly card games. Depending on when you go, the local restaurants may not be open - but Brenham and La Grange are close by for groceries and other dining options. We appreciate all the effort that Kristine put into making our stay special. Thanks!

Nice Round Top Property

It was nice to have a weekend away in Round Top. We enjoyed shopping in Round Top and walking the country road just outside the house. The inside of the house was well maintained and nicely decorated. We easily slept 4 adults and 2 kids and had enough room to eat dinner at the long table and hang out in the family room together.

Girls Weekend

We really enjoyed staying at this property! The place was beautifully decorated & had everything that we needed. We loved sitting in the different areas available to use! Kristine made us feel like guests. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Just more specific info needed on how to work tv, entry code and internet codes on printout inaccurate so double ck with property mgr. Nice people to work with and obtain info from. Quiet, peaceful and rustic beauty, all wonderfully combined!

This is a beautiful property set in a well maintained old farmhouse. It is wonderfully designed with a mixture of eclectic and rustic adornments. We had a couple little issues which were both addressed immediately, which was a breath of fresh air to have a property manager who was not only reachable, but immediately responsive! She has definitely earned her premier status in my book! Note that while the house is a bit hard to cool in Texas' August heat, the perfectly sized pool is welcoming, clean and refreshing and a wonderful cool down option! Even with the couple little issues, it's definitely return. Southern hospitality goes a loooong way with me!!! :-)

Great getaway!

We loved it here and will definitely return. The house was very charming and fully equipped and clean. The pool was in excellent shape and we enjoyed sitting out by the pool and swimming. Very close to all the restaurants/shops in town. The owner was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful. Definitely recommend!

A wonderful getaway

I celebrated my birthday with friends here and I highly recommend this place!!- the house and grounds are gorgeous - it is clean and the beds are super comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The owner is super easy to communicate with and so helpful.

House needs attention

Although we had a great time, we arrived at the house that looked abandoned because the growth had overtook the house. Found a mouse in one of the bedrooms on sticky paper, two fuses tripped while we were there and we had to go out in the tall jungle to trip the breakers. The tub did not drain and the door handle was broke so you could not shut the door. Some of the lamps had burnt out bulbs and they need to leave a package of clean sponges to clean up the kitchen. It could be a great house but nobody is paying attention to details.
