Loved the scenic location of the hotel. Spacious and clean room. The complementary breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed dining in at the onsite hotel restaurant V.Lounge and Grill. Free parking was available on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Copthall.

Herman, Jenaika, Neresa, Glinda and Miguel. Such a great staff. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and enjoyable. You accommodated our needs and made sure we have an unforgettable stay. The location is very close to Roseau and all the key adventures of the island. They kept the place very clean and the food, delicious as we ate there in the morning and most nights. The lush greenery surrounding the property made us feel so cozy. Highly recommend for your stay. Book ahead, they only have 14 rooms

First time on the island and the flight/accommodation combo via Expedia was great. Villa room was roomie with kitchen. A/C and fans in the bedroom, fans elsewhere. Balcony to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Walkable roads around location to be enjoyed. A ten minute taxi to Roseau. Pool on property and staff can help with excursions and spa services. We used the Get your Guide app to connect with reasonable local guides (we used Island Gemz several times and it was a treat!). Onsite restaurant was good, kind of slow for breakfast. Some of the dinner options were not available; skip the tuna (too dry compared to one of the beach restaurants we stopped at). We brought groceries in town and used the room kitchen for breakfast and snacks we took on outings.

Wonderful place in a great location. It's near Trafalgar waterfall and the national park, yet close to capital as well. Peaceful, lovely neighborhood. Wonderful, quiet, spotless room. Narissa was so very kind to us. She waited there until got there after the long drive from the airport. Reasonable cost. Just great. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Villa Copthall. The hotel has such a lovely welcoming vibe. The staff was so kind and helpful. They volunteered lots of information and ideas for things to do in the area. Thank you to Ricky and Herman for all the nice things they did to make our kids smile. The pool and the view was great as well. Lots to do in the area. Get an AWD car to explore the surroundings.

Idyllic hotel in the middle of the rainforest

Such a lovely hotel! The owners who run it are super friendly and helpful, and recommend things to do. The room was really comfortable and clean, and the setting is beautiful (in the middle of the mountains). The restaurant there is also amazing and very reasonable (we ate there every night), would definitely recommend!

Relaxing and comfortable stay!

The manager, Herman, and his staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the room was comfortable and just what we needed.

This is a cosy and quiet retreat close to the rainforest. The look of the place is impressive. There are virtually no other choices nearby for food and drinks, so you will likely to be reliant on using the hotel bar. The food and drinks were fairly good, but the menu is limited and even then, much was unavailable. I arranged the islands main hiking excursion (to Boiling Lake) through the hotel staff. Unfortunately their booking mistakes resulted in me setting off around 2 hours later that I’d want and this created extra pressures.

Whenever I am in Dominica, I will stay at Villa Copthall. The staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive. Breakfast and Dinner on site with Bar was clutch. Parking is available and secure. The area is quiet and serene and close to downtown.
