The house is spacious however it’s really lacking in some really important things: - the powder room was absolutely unusable and smelling of mould as they use it store the mop bucket which could easily be kept in the massive garden space outside. Everytime we needed to use a toilet we would have to go to someone’s en-suite on the first or second floor of the house which was inconvenient as we had a child and grandparents with us. - they didn’t give us a dishwashing sponge and when asked simply responded with please check in the cabinet like we wouldn’t have already. The dishwasher was also really poor quality and the dishes would come out dirty no matter how long or how high the heat setting was. There was also no kitchen towel and we had to end up using one of our hand towels. - They gave us a total of 5 sets of towels for 5 people. No extras. We had a clean included with our stay so that was somewhat of a saving grace for the long duration that we were there. But we did waste quite a bit of time trying to do laundry. The washing machine was a real pain to figure out. And we really struggled to dry clothes as it was raining everyday. On day 1 federica showed us detergent and fabric softener. Turns out they were both detergents. There was no fabric softener at all. - The listing said toiletries would be included so we don’t bother to carry any. This is quite misleading as all they provide is one dispenser of shower gel in each bathroom. We had to spend precious sightseein

Beautiful & Relaxing

We brought my mom to Rome for the first time & she wanted to stay in a neighborhood versus the real touristy areas. This place is well taken care of & is just what she wanted. The neighborhood is peaceful with lots of local foods, groceries & coffee shops within walking distance. We walked from the villa to the Colosseum & around Rome. It's not real close but the beauty you see along the way is so worth it. Each bedroom has its own bathroom & AC, should you need it. I suspect the only complaint I have is it took me way too long to figure out how to run the clothes washer/dryer combo. However, once I figured it out, I watched a YouTube video, it worked wonderfully.The hosts provided us with a little bit of everything to start with & if we needed more, the grocery store was right down the street.We will definitely recommend this villa & the people who run it. They were helpful with transportation setups & answered any questions we had, which was a lot. Book it! You won't regret it. I guess I should say, this is a 3 story villa, so there are stairs involved. It wasn't an issue for us but just a caution if anyone has issues with lots of steps.
