Vatican Penthouse with Terrace - St Peter's Dome view

Placed in one of the most central areas of the eternal city, this wonderful 160 m2 apartment is composed of a living room, a dining room, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large terrace overlooking Saint Peter's dome; it comfortably hosts up to 8 guests.

The apartment has been completely renovated in 2013 and refurbished with both modern and original antique furniture. It is on the third and last floor of an historical building and for this reason there is no lift. Free Wi-Fi Internet is available in all parts of the apartment.

As soon as you enter, you will be fascinated by the spacious entrance and the long corridor through which you can access all areas of the property. The apt is provided with a 22sqm, which is an added value as buildings in the area usually don't have external spaces. Both from the terrace and the dining room windows you can see Via Cola di Rienzo, Piazza Risorgimento, the Vatican walls and St. Peter's dome.

The day area consists of a living room, with a double sofa bed, Satellite Tv, and a dining room with a very large table that can sit up to 10 people. A fully equipped kitchen completes the area, provided with oven, dish washer, toaster, kettle, Italian coffee maker and Nespresso coffee machine.

The night area is composed of three bedrooms: one is provided with two single beds, the other two have 2 doubled beds. The apt has 3 bathrooms, two provided with showers and one with a tub. Washing machine and dishwasher are available for our guests as well.

If needed, a single couch bed is in the dining room and can host an additional guest.

Maria was amazing and so accommodating! When our flight was canceled she offered to move our days for us with no additional costs. Maria also allowed us a late check out, since she didn’t have anyone staying the day we left. The place was roomy and not the typical compact layout like most places in Rome, along with plenty of restrooms. The location was perfect and everywhere we wanted to go was in walking distance or available through the metro, which was a few blocks away. We want to go back in the next few years and plan to rent Maria’s beautiful home again. Thank you for everything Maria, you’re the best!

The Vatican Penhouse with Terrace was ideal for walking to visit St. Peter's Basilica,Museum and the Sistene Chapel. The accommodation was perfect for three couples and the terrance was a bonus to have. It did say it's on the third floor, and had 80 stairs to climb. We would highly recommend this location to friends and family.

This apartment and host deserve more than an 10/10! We have stayed in many VRBOs and this has been the best experience we have ever had! The location of the apartment, the exceptional host, the cleanliness of the apartment- made this trip so special! We had a family of 6 staying here and we had plenty of space for all of us. Maria arranged all of our transportation and that was so helpful for our vacation. They always arrived on time and the price was told to us before we ever even left for our vacation. FANTASTIC apartment in Rome

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well furnished with a fabulous location and host. The description was accurate. There were good restaurants, markets, ATMs, and gelato within blocks and the Vatican was so close. The patio and views were added bonuses. This perfectly met the needs of our family of six adults. All our needs for space and amenities were met.

Amazing Weekend In Roma!

The Check-in and communication between Maria and myself was amazing! She was always there to help and answer any questions! The flat itself was amazing we had a group of 9 and all had our own space as well as great location for any of the Vatican activities as well as a phenomenal view of the Vatican and Saint Peter’s Dome! Would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in exploring this area of Roma!

Amazing Location

We were a group consisting of 3 couples. Everyone having their own bathroom was excellent. The apartment was well appointed with what we needed. Beds were comfortable and space was clean. Sitting on the balcony at night was an added bonus. The location of the property is perfect. Our host, Maria was excellent and took the extra steps of arranging our transportation. Location was perfect! Highly recommend.

When in Rome…. Stay here!

We loved everything about the apartment. The views from the terrace, the surrounding restaurants and shops, the cleanliness of the bathrooms and kitchen, and the neighborhood felt safe. Maria was a wonderful host. She communicated very well with us at all points of our travel. She assisted us with transfers from airport and to train station. She went above and beyond to help us if/when needed. Highly recommend staying there especially if you like the comfort of having a host that has your back. Overall very easy and great experience! Wonderful Apartment

We had a multigenerational group and had a great time in the apartment. The patio was excellent, rooms are comfortable, and the location makes it easy to explore Rome. The host was exceptionally helpful with setting up our transports. We would stay there again.

Great family unit near vatican

Comfortable and spacious apt for wife and I and our 3 adult children. Its nicely equipped and the host was so helpful with setting up car service to and from the airport. No elevator was no issue to do the stairs to the 3rd floor.

Great Apartment

We loved our stay. Fantastic location, clean and very comfortable and lots of amenities. Lots of bars and restaurants very close. And you can see the top of St Peters Dome. The host Maria was so helpful and even booked transport for us. Highly recommended. We hope to come back.

Amazing views

Great apartment with tons of restaurants, shops and the Vatican nearby. We spend our Christmas holiday and this place and it was decorated with a Xmas tree for us to enjoy. A bottle of Prosecco and chocolates was left by the host, nice touch! Our host was gracious and arranged transportation from fumicino airport and to our ship in Civitavecchia! We did manage to get our steps in during our stay! This apartment has no lift! But we managed and planned our travel in and out of the apartment! Overall a great place!

Perfect Location

Maria was an amazing host, she went way above and beyond to help us. She scheduled the shuttles from the train station and to the airport, called us several times to help us navigate our way to our driver. She was so, so helpful! The apartment was spacious and filled with, what I assumed, are family heirlooms. Beautiful vintage and antique furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, and the balcony, with the Vatican and St. Peter’s dome view, was our nightly wine enjoyment spot. I would highly recommend this Vatican View Penthouse. Thank you for a lovely visit Maria!

Great Apartment

Six of us came to Rome to explore this beautiful city and also to enjoy a day at the Ryder Cup. The apartment was lovely and ideally situated, we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the terrace for coffee in the morning and wine at the end of the night! Maria could not have been more helpful, and organised taxis to and from the airport for us. I would definitely stay in this apartment again.

Great location

Great apartment and Maria and her daughter were extremely accommodating. Rome was extremely hot in August but the air conditioning in the home was great so it didn't bother us at night. Walking distance to the Vatican with a number of good restaurants near by as well as a large taxi stand close by. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
