La Dolce Vita is a beautiful newly renovated penthouse features large rooms equipped with a TV and air conditioning, fine furnishings and wifii available for free for guests.

The apartment was nice! I didn't appreciate that a tip was requested to checkout early

I thought the apartment was beautiful. It was very chic and decorated beautifully. It had air conditioning only in the bedrooms so if you wanted to have air conditioning in the living quarters, you would have to leave the bedroom doors opened. Near the airport but not that close to other areas. There was a few restaurants within walking distance so that was okay. I was told you could take a subway to tourists area but you would have to drive to the subway. It also had an elevator, which was a plus. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to leave to go to the airport at 6:30am and the woman, that had to checkout us out, told me she expected a tip because she had to come early. I thought that was rude and a turnoff. After all - the only reason I had to stay over night, was because of my early flight. She also requested a $200 cash deposit, that was returned at checkout. I could not understand that either because I had to pay by credit card so why not just hold my card for that amount.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

The property is on Via Aurelia, but it is behind another building so the noise of the street is blocked. The air conditioning was especially appreciated because we stayed during a period of hot weather. The beds were very comfortable. Check in was easy and friendly, as was check out. Connection to public transit was easy. The bus that takes you to the Metro station is right outside. We were very happy with this apartment and thought the price was very reasonable, too.

Aesthetic place to stay. Eye catching location with great comfort to all.

We were 4 Adults and 3 children. The property itself was more then pleasing and Manuela was very accommodating to us. We had came into Rome later then expected and had to adjust our check-in time due to our tour time with the Vatican. Manuela made it easy to check-in at a later time due to time constraints. The apartment building was secure and we felt it was in a good location. There is a parking availble which I didn't know until after we arrived which made the stay even more convenient. Arriving to the actual apartment I realized the photos did not do it justice. The modern funishing mixed with art and antique items were placed together well. The apartment was more then well taken care. Everything was super clean and towels were nicely laid out on each bed. There were plenty of room for the 7 of us. We all enjoyed our time there. The location itself is about an 11 minute drive to the Vatican. There were some restraurants and small stores in walking distance to the apartment building. Manuela was very helpful in answering questions about places to eat and what to eat while we were in Rome. We loved this apartment and we would choose this apartment again in another trip in the future and look forward to doing it.
