Gabriele and Sarah were absolutely excellent hosts right from the time we made our booking months ago.Gabriele made recommendations as to the transportation that we needed. The transportation was perfect and less expensive than others that we checked on.Before we arrived, I told Gabriele of my spouse’s back and hip issues and told him that she needed a soft firm mattress. The day before I arrived, he told me that he had purchased a memory foam topper for her bed. That made her stay much more comfortable.On the day that we arrived both Gabriele and Sara showed up to make sure that we understood everything about the house and to make recommendations on places to eat. They were so helpful and so friendly that we could feel that we had known them for years.We arrived at the house from the airport about the time of our normal lunchtime and Gabriele and Sara had left food and water at the house for our first lunch.A couple of times during our five night stay we had a question for them, so I sent them a text on WhatsApp and almost instantly heard back from them.A grocery store, pharmacy, and several restaurants were all within walking distance of the house. The Charming House had the kind of look and feel that we wanted for our stay in Rome. We prepared some meals at the house and all the kitchen appliances and tools necessary were there. We used their washing machine to wash our clothes.The air conditioning in the various rooms of the house worked well.
