The Foundry Guest Apartment is on the first floor of a newly renovated Historic Grange Hall. The Foundry property, in addition to a couple of second floor apartments, is also an Artist's glassblowing and sculpture studio in an adjacent building. Our Guest Apartment is close to the coastal towns of Camden and Rockland.

Everything was sparkling clean, full beautiful kitchen with supplies. We were planning on going on for breakfast but decided to cook instead, saving lots of time. Lots of fun things to do in the surrounding towns, we fell in love with the area.

The pictures don't do it justice. I wish we had taken some of our own. Such an airy, bright, clean space, with pleasing, understated decor. Well thought-out design, with ample places to put our belongings, and comfortable places to relax. The bed was excellent, with crisp, cotton sheets. So nice to have blackout shades in the bedroom.The deck, facing the beautiful garden, was a lovely spot to keep an eye on the activities of Monarch butterflies and hummingbirds. The apartment is in a convenient location for exploring mid-coast towns. (Take a ride to Hazel's for a superb lobster roll!) Excellent communication with the host.

Amazing Apartment in Rockport

Richard and Shirley are so nice and such wonderful hosts. Their apartment is very comfortable and very tastefully appointed. The location is perfect for regional explorations. Highly highly, recommend.

Perfect place to stay while exploring the Mid-Coast

This was, by far, one of the best VRBO’s we have rented. Spotless and exquisitely designed for comfort and efficiency. Richard and Shirley were wonderful hosts. Peaceful setting just short scenic drives to Rockland and Camden. The Foundry Apartment was a lucky find.

Rockport respite

We loved our stay at the Foundry. It was 100 percent sparkling clean , had great amenities, and was just the perfect spot to enjoy and day trip from. The host was really helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back !

A very nice and clean apartment with almost everything you need! The owners are welcoming and available for assistance. They had some goodie’s in the refrigerator, snacks, coffee pods and live plants. I stayed 3 weeks and would like to stay again in the future.

The Foundry Guest Apartment was all around wonderful - extremely clean and well-appointed with not only everything needed for a comfortable stay, but also lovely touches like beautiful pictures of Maine on the walls and cozy throw blankets at the ready. Great place and good location

I enjoyed watching the wild Turkey and her 4 babies from the living room window. Very quiet and very clean! Easy to get into Camden via back roads and easy access to all other points. Enjoyed relaxing in the place. Great internet connection and access to all the cable tv channels plus Netflix and Prime. Would stay there again.
