    The Space:

    Get away to the coast for a pleasant vacation at this charming, modern home in Rockaway Beach. This house is perfect for a small family or a couple's retreat - take a quick walk to the beach to build sand castles, splash your feet in the surf, and enjoy a picnic on a nice day. For the adventurous, sea kayaking is always a thrilling experience. Fishing, clamming, and crabbing are all popular in this area if you want to catch your own seafood and have fun doing it, and all the equipment can be rented from the Jetty Fishery.



    In downtown Rockaway, you'll find a number of dining options to choose from. The town boasts some quaint boutiques, including locally famous Flamingo Jim's. For more fun, the Tillamook Cheese Factory lies 12 miles south, where you can find tasty food, take a tour of the factory, and enjoy a grand selection of ice cream. For some sightseeing, you can drive the 34 miles north to Seaside, which also takes you to Cannon Beach, with beautiful vistas to see along the way.



    The house has a tranquil atmosphere with polished wood floors and plenty of natural light. On the second floor, the main open room features a living, kitchen, and dining area. Comfortable furniture allows you to relax with a book or a board game from off the shelf. Or, you might turn on the television for some evening leisure after a long day. On the other side of the room, you'll find a spacious kitchen, featuring stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and plenty of cabinet storage to help you prepare the perfect meal, plus a dishwasher for easy clean-up. The dining table is great for family meals and game nights with friends. Step outside to a large deck and relax at the patio table with some coffee and a book to enjoy a sunny morning as the kids frolic in the fully-enclosed yard. Speaking of kids, a wagon, stroller, and booster seat are available for this home's younger guests, so they'll never be left out.



    Downstairs is a bonus room with comfy furniture and a large TV with streaming services and a DVD player, as well as a laundry room with a private washer/dryer and a shared full bath with a shower. WiFi is available for your convenience. Two bedrooms make for plenty of space and privacy for your group, and extra guests can sleep soundly on the sofa bed. One bedroom offers a king bed set among charming decor, and the other has two twin beds. A shared full bath is easily accessible nearby.

The place was really clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, place was roomy for the 5 of us and our pets. The deck was nice, table outside was a nice added touch when it was nice outside, plus the yard was big. Thank you for a great stay.

Spacious, clean home, in a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, and modern appliances (kitchen and laundry). Loved the deck, the view of the sky from the living room and deck, and how easy and quick it was to get to the beach. Would not hesitate to book here again.

The home was easy to find, with convenient off‑street parking. There are stairs to the main entrance and additional stairs leading to the lower level, so be mindful of that if there are accessibility concerns. Everything felt clean and the decor inviting. The living room sofas were very comfortable. There are lots of games and movies to entertain as well. We didn’t use the downstairs space or the deck, but both looked great. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to move around in. We didn't use it, but there is a dishwasher. The upstairs bedrooms (one king, one with two twins) were cozy with individual thermostats. Ceiling fans upstairs also helped to circulate air. Downstairs laundry was very handy as was the second bathroom. As a pet‑friendly rental, there were a few lingering pet scents, and we also noticed some slight dampness at times; we shared both with the host. The WiFi had occasional slow periods as well. None of these were significant, and none took away from our stay; the house remained comfortable. It made a great home base for exploring Cannon Beach, Tillamook, and Rockaway Beach’s shops and restaurants. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly, close to the old cedar growth trail, and the hydrangeas out back were beautiful. Overall, the house was quiet and instantly welcoming. We’d happily stay again.

Very comfortable for two of us, plus puppy. Well-equipped kitchen. Nicely located in a quiet neighborhood, with lots of options for walks, including easy access to the beach. Bright (even on rainy days!), thanks to large windows. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful house in Rockaway and we had a fantastic stay. The house is lovely and so well stocked. The space is comfortable and the view from the large deck is nice. It is a short walk to the beach. We really appreciated the fenced in deck and yard as well.

The house was very clean, well stocked, and super cozy. The beds and rooms were comfortable with lots of bedding. The couches were comfortable, and the outside deck was very nice. The kitchen had just about everything one would need and then some. The only thing we could have used were some kitchen wash cloths. I appreciated that there were 2 bathrooms and 3 separate sleeping areas.

Very nice, clean and spacious house with enough room for everyone. Good location. One minor issue were the pillows in the main bedroom - very flat and small, not much support.

Other than the lock issues when we first arrived our stay was absolutely 💯!! Very spacious and clean. More than what we expected. Highly recommend this place.

What you see is what you get!

We had a great time in this cozy “Home away from home” Thankyou for letting us stay we would definitely stay again. Only thing that was slightly inconvenient is that the trash never did get picked up so I had to haul most of it away to other locations Again Thankyou for opening this home up in beautiful Rockaway Beach

Great house - super clean

I was really impressed with this house. You can tell that the owner really took some time to update everything. The kitchen and bathrooms all have new appliances and features. The house was SUPER clean too, which was really nice. The location is only a couple blocks from the beach. The house is on a super quite street too. I would definitely rent this house again!
