The view from the cabin was superb! We really enjoyed our short weekend. Foglight Foodhouse was a delicious dinner. I would highly recommend eating dinner there one night during your stay.

Great location, and communication. Beautifully renovated property, quiet, serene, picturesque surroundings.Had a great relaxing time and close to the Rock Island State Park for hiking.

Lovely place to stay. Shower could be tiled and bedrooms are a tad bit small, but we so enjoyed the porch and deck!

Love this place

The house is simple not very fancy but its a very quiet peaceful place in absolute beautiful view good place to celebrate your Anniversary.

Everything is exactly as the website shows... Sunrise was visible from the master bedroom... Comfy, cozy, peaceful... Loved our evenings and mornings at the cottage... Hope to stay again someday soon

Peaceful & Quiet

Just what I needed for a short stay in between traveling from NC to Nashville. Lots of outdoor activities around town and super quiet location just to relax!

Great location to Rock Island State Park. We enjoyed the hikes and waterfalls in the area. Cabin area was quiet and peaceful. Enough room for our family of 4. We enjoyed our morning coffee and reading on the front porch/deck overlooking the water. We had one hiccup but Sarah was quick to respond. Communication was fast and respectful. Foglight Foodhouse is a must for dinner. All four of our meals were delicious.

The cabin was perfect. Very quiet and serene. You could tell that the owners take pride in their visitors stay.

We enjoyed our quiet stay in this cute cottage. The porch was a wonderful place to enjoy our morning coffee and we were able to have a fire outside one of the nights we stayed; bonus was hearing the owls! The cottage was well maintained and had everything we needed. It was clean and cozy. The host was very responsive. We had a lovely weekend!

Cute cabin on the river

Cozy cabin with scenic river views. Perfect location to see all the local waterfalls at the 3 state parks close by. I went with my parents and there was plenty of room for us 3.

Amazing

It is great place you do not want to miss. The view was incredible and surrounding natute was peaceful. Locations to the rockisland state park was perfect. Will come back again.highly recommended

Home away from home

Coming from Alaska for a wedding, we couldn’t ask for much more. Super comfortable, and absolutely breathtaking views on the water. Would definitely return 😉

Relaxing

This area is so peaceful and quiet. The view was amazing. The house was small but perfect for just the 2 of us. It's a cute little set up with many places to sit and relax. I loved all the little throws they placed throughout the house and outside on the seats

This little piece of heaven on earth, was exactly my husband and I needed. It was our anniversary trip. I enjoyed drinking my tea outside every morning. The view of the lake was breath taking. I would love to go back sometime in the future.Sara the property owner, was always a phone all away.

Great communication with host. Property was clean and cozy. Loved the deck and views. Location to Rock Island and many other parks was super convenient. If I had any comment that was not fantastic I would say the shower and bath were small. However, that is minor for all the pluses. We would come back for sure.
