Great location for our needs, National park and hiking within a reasonable drive, fishing and river activities all around us and other actives nearby. The house was well equipped and in a beautiful setting.

Peaceful, close to great hiking. We also enjoyed many activities in and around the property as the home was fully equipped inside and out with everything you might expect for a getaway on the river. An unexpected and welcome accommodation was the gate on the deck that allowed our dog to roam freely without us worrying about an escape. We weren’t disappointed with our first trip to the Shenandoah Valley.

This is a beautiful home located right next to the river! It had everything you could need in the kitchen, a beautiful deck for grilling out, comfortable beds, and was a very peaceful setting. It was just what I was looking for.

The house was lovely and exactly as described. Short walk to the river with a fire pit. House was spotless. There were a bunch of tubes and some kayaks and a couple canoes available for use. The owner was very responsive whenever I had questions.

Incredible location, we spent a lot of time on the river. Plenty of kayaks and tubes for everyone and a perfect place for bonfires. Neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. House is beautiful and big but needs some TLC, some things falling apart/broken (inside and outside chairs, pool sticks, outdoor railing, one of the kayaks has a hole, slow leaks in two tubes). Upstairs bathroom needs a deep clean. Missing booster seat for my baby but our host had one delivered the next day so that was great. Kitchen was fully stocked and grill worked well, plenty of beds, two refrigerators made plenty of room for all our food. All in all a wonderful stay, would recommend and return here in the future.

Great view! Wonderful location! There was a very minor hiccup getting into the house but owner responded quickly so really no big deal! We would love to visit again!

Great house on the river

This is a great place for a family getaway in the countryside. Would be perfect for a large group with lots of kids. Well stocked with everything you need. We loved it.

Such an amazing time again at this property! Love the ramps for fishing on the kayaks!! Everyone enjoyed themselves, and when it rained perfect game room to occupy our time!!

Great house by the river

Spacious house off the beaten pass. Great place to stay with a group. They had everything you possibly would need. Visited Luray caverns, skyline drive. Host was easy to reach and helpful.
