This wonderful apartment is on 2nd floor in the heart of Reykjavik downtown. Its size is about 75 m² (800 sq feet) with two bedrooms, bathroom (great shower), kitchen and living room. Very spacious for 4 person. Perfect for families. No sofa bed only new and very comfort beds in private bedrooms and wonderful duvets and pillows. Perfect cleanliness is our goal for all of our guests. Everything in this apartment has been improved.

Girls Trip to Iceland

VERY clean. Great location for bus stops and city sights. Noisy in PM with construction in property beside and Th/ Fri/ Sat art performance space. Noise would be bothersome if trying to let little kids sleep but was doable with adults. Would definitely stay here again.

Up all night.....in a good way!

Just as advertised, great location in the heart of the city, easy to walk to restaurants. We took advantage of the long daylight hours...and the short time we did sleep the blackout curtains worked great. We really enjoyed the country, the people, the city and this place. Thank you

Dejlig lejlighed, som vi gerne ville have lejet igen. Men vi ville gerne have været underrettet om den INFERNALSKE larm fra det langvarige opgravningsarbejde lige uden for vinduerne. Ejeren burde have tilbudt et afslag i prisen.

Central holiday retreat

The property was located very close walking distance to most sights that we wanted to see in Reykjavik. We found the condo very clean, beds were comfortable, ample amount of linens. Kitchen was very well equipped as we did a lot of our own cooking. The owner could add a few items such as small frying pan and egg flipper. But over all we would recommend this property.

Our family of 4 had a great time in this apartment. Ogmundur was a great host as responded promptly when we had questions. Couldn't have asked for a better place in a great part of town near restaurants and sights!

Perfect location, perfect amenities, amazing comfort

I brought my teenage son on a trip to Iceland, and we desired to stay in an apartment versus in a hotel. I am so glad we did! The Downtown Reykjavik Apartment was absolutely perfect. Beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen was quaint, highly functional and well-stocked (thank you for the much-needed coffee!), and the location was absolutely perfect. It's easy to walk everywhere in Reykjavik, and this location was central to everything. The hosts were extremely accommodating and allowed early check-in and late check-out (something they are able to do if there are no renters on either side of your stay). They left us a little gift of Christmas oranges, which we were thankful for! Also, each time I emailed with a question or request, they were very responsive and accommodating. The ONLY drawback was the noise. The street on weekend nights can be a bit loud... people being a bit rowdy after a night of drinking. But that's not exclusive to this apartment... if we had stayed at another apartment two blocks over, we would have experienced the same. There was construction occurring in the building, so a couple of days we were woken up by hammering and sawing. But again, I think this could occur anywhere, in any apartment building. We just happened to time our trip to coincide with some building remodeling! Overall, we were exceedingly happy with the apartment and would definitely hope stay again if we return to Reykjavik.

Great apartment in an even better location!

The apartment is exactly as advertised, very clean and very well-appointed. The location is amazing. There are so many shops and restaurants, museums and churches - all within walking distance. There are plenty of pillows, towels, wine glasses, everything you need for a great stay in Reykjavik.

A beautiful apartment - exceptionally well cared for.

What a lovely apartment - clean and tidy, everything we could have hoped for and more. Well situated just off the Main Street, 5 mins walk (Max) from the church and bus stop 8. The apartment contained everything we needed for cooking in the evenings, abig, clean shower room, two spacious bedrooms and seating area for the four of us. The owner responded swiftly to any questions we had - I really couldn't fault him. All in all a fantastic place to stay in a wonderful city.

Beautiful Apartment with a Perfect Location

All the small stuff

This location was a great place to stop over for 3 days. It came with all the small things that you don't bring with you including tea, coffee, salt pepper, wrap and sandwich bags for a day trek. But if you don't have what you need the grocery store is just around the corner.

AMAZING LOCATION!

This apartment has everything you would want in a vacation rental. The owner was always prompt in replying to our questions and his instructions were excellent. It is really larger than the pictures and even has a window that lets you see the church lit up at night. We never did get the TV working but really were too tired at night from touring so it didn't matter. It was the perfect base for discovering downtown Reykjavik and for day tripping. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well stocked for eating in. A grocery is right up the main street and a great little cafe/restaurant Fish and More that was very reasonable. Highly recommend !We loved Iceland.

Wonderful apartment in convenient location

Lovely apartment, well laid out, with great amenities. We bought groceries and cooked a few times to save some money. Directions to get to the apartment were crystal clear and incredibly helpful. Could use some tips on using the washer/dryer, but the place really is perfect!
