  • El apartamento está en las dos plantas superiores de un edificio nuevo en Laugavegur, la principal calle comercial. El apartamento es de 75 m2 o 800 pies cuadrados de tamaño. En la planta baja hay un baño con bañera y ducha, cocina, sala de estar con sofá de 3 plazas, TV grande y una ventana grande orientada al sur hacia Hallgrimskirkja. La habitación está arriba junto con un balcón con una excelente vista hacia el sur sobre el centro de la ciudad (ver la foto en la parte superior de la página).

    El apartamento tiene capacidad para 2-4 personas. Está completamente amueblado con todos los servicios, como nevera, microondas, fogones, tostadora, lavavajillas, vajilla para 6 personas, bañera / ducha, lavadora / secadora, TV de pantalla plana de 37 pulgadas, reproductor de DVD, Apple TV, teléfono móvil teléfono con número local, punto de acceso WiFi móvil, conexión a Internet de alta velocidad inalámbrica, cuna y una cama doble Bo-Concept con colchón de espuma viscoelástica (similar a Tempur-Pedic). Hay un ascensor hasta el cuarto piso y luego una escalera en el interior del apartamento entre las dos plantas. Se puede proporcionar una plaza de aparcamiento en un garaje cerrado dentro del edificio por solo 20 EUR por día.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Reykjavik. Close to everything without feeling like the crowd is right outside your door, amazing views, and a great host. Jon’s communication is some of the best I have ever experienced with a host. Clear and concise information and prompt responses. Highly recommend.

Excellent location for all things Reykjavik. Easy walking to all sights and waterfront. Views are spectacular. Safe apartment, garage was convenient for parking. Jon was helpful and easy to connect with throughout the stay. The kitchen was well appointed and we found basic cooking supplies helpful. Be sure to watch the orientation video for smooth check in.

Property was just as described. Great location close to shops and eateries. Quiet in the evening. Host’s suggestions were very helpful. Would stay here again.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay here - great location, great views (saw some Northern Lights out both sides of the apartment!), fully stocked to cook "at home" to save money on the high restaurant costs, and almost instant response from the host when we had any questions. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location and clean. Owner was extremely responsive to requests and accommodating. The property is located on a busy road with numerous restaurants, coffee shops and gift stores. Easy access to highways to go both East and West. Very easy to find from the airport

The apartment was fantastic in terms of cleanliness, location and communication with the property manager, Jon. We would absolutely love to stay here again if/when we return to Iceland!!

Best Place to Stay

We absolutely loved Jon’s penthouse apartment! It was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, and Jon was a great host. The location was the best. We enjoyed having easy access to all the shops and restaurants, plus it was centrally located for exploring Reykjavik. We rented the parking spot from Jon, which made parking super easy. We are already talking about our next trip to Iceland and we would love to stay here again!

brilliant location - could not be better

Great flat and Jon was fantastic with comms beforehand. The location was absolutely first class in the heart of city - exactly where you need to be. Apartment was also great, all you could need, with shops and bars very close by indeed. Could not recommend this apartment any more - give it a try!

Exceptionally clean, comfortable, great size and striking views..Hallgrimskirkja in all it's glory in front & dramatic mountains in the back. Perfect location. Iceland stole our hearts. Sandholt steps away~sensational..Bravo to Svarta Kaffid right across ~ Caruso - do NOT miss this place! Kopar ♥ Laundromat Cafe ♥ Our tour guide Mercury Grail~Andres made our trip fantastic! Check in and out with Jon was so easy & he was always a phone call away. This apartment made us so very happy ♥♥♥

GREAT listing!

Jon’s apartment was exactly what we had been looking for during our stay in Iceland. It was very clean, fully stocked with all of the amenities plus some extras like a mobile hot spot. The designated parking space was a bonus as parking wasn’t always easy in the area. It was a great location, walking distance to all of the good cafes and restaurants. Jon was very prompt in his responses always going above and beyond and even offering recommendations. If we come back to Iceland, we will be sure to rent from him again!

Great apartment in amazing location

This was a fabulous little apartment for our family! The location was perfect. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen and bathroom accessories, which was much appreciated. We were able to save some money by making breakfast each morning instead of eating every meal out. It had amazing views and we could walk everywhere from there. Parking is difficult in that neighborhood, so I definitely recommend taking advantage of the parking space if you rent a car. We found the car very helpful for touring the golden circle, southern Iceland, and going to the Blue Lagoon.

Perfect location!

This was my first VRBO rental on my own with my two teenage boys. So clean, easy and efficient. We had a rental car and got the available parking spot in the garage-a must for convenience and low stress! Jon was always available and checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. We were out snd about all day everyday adventuring and the location made finding dinner so easy. Also, the grocery store right next door meant I could provision so easily. For a mom and two teenage boys this was perfect!

PERFECT Rental!

This was my best VRBO experience ever. The apartment is lovely, comfortable, and immaculate, with everything you could possibly need. It is right smack in the middle of Reykjavik's main downtown street, modern in both decor and amenities, and, for the record, the only one we found in Reykjavik with a tub (as opposed to shower only). And it isn't just an ordinary bathtub: it's enormous! The hot water is endless. Jon, the host, provides extras that go above and beyond: he left a mobile wifi hotspot for us to use, which saved us from paying for international cellular and worked much faster than cellular would have. There are even rain ponchos in the closet. Jon is an outstanding host. He checked on us regularly, responded within minutes to any messages we sent, and was beyond gracious and helpful. There is a dedicated parking spot in the building's garage that we rented for $20/night, which was well worth it. I don't have one negative thing to say (and trust me, I can be a bit of a picky princess). I have rented many VRBOs - easily over 20 - and I have never been 100% satisfied as I was with Jon's place. Trust me: you want to rent this place.

Amazing location, spacious apartment and great host

Right in the centre of Reykjavik within walking distance of so many sights, shops and activities that you have to choose which ones out of the array to go for. Host helpful and welcoming. Good instructions about how to get there and a wide selection of books and leaflets in the apartment to help you decide where to go. Lots of opportunities to join organised tours within walking distance; we combined organised trips with own choice days out and used the excellent parking garage under the apartments for the hire car. Very much recommend.

Great penthouse apartment in Reykjavik

Jon was quick to reply to all my messages, the place couldn't have been in a better location, and everything we needed to prepare meals for the week was there. The place was very clean, views were amzing, and the bed was very comfortable. When we return we'll be staying here again for sure!

Location, Comfort and Chic

This property is in a perfect location and is also perfectly immaculate. Jon, the Property manager, will thoroughly prepare you for a hassle free and true “Home away from home” stay. Absolutely nothing to improve upon or change.

We had a wonderful stay. Even though there was a last minute glitch with the apartment we rented we were given an alternative apartment in the same building. Jon's communications were amazing. His video about the apartment and checkin check out process was a great help. Would also highly recommend the apartment location.

Great downtown location

Jon’s attention to detail for this rental is great. His intro video was the best I have ever seen. There were no issues with the penthouse for my family of four adults. We will be back soon! This is a great location and it is walking distance to most everything. The apartment is in good condition and it all worked as designed. We had no issues at all.
