"The Caley Hotel has a lot of history in the buildings, but the rooms are fresh and modern, with all the necessary details. We were in a room in a small courtyard away from the bar and restaurant and it was very quiet. The staff were all lovely and helpful. It would be nice to see even more of the local seafood on the menu, but the sea bass and rock bass were both very good. They seemed a tiny bit short-staffed, but everyone was clearly doing everything they could to keep things ticking over. My...

"Lovely, comfortable hotel. They made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The bar and restaurant food were very good and the service was excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. "Need to have choice of duvet as the provided was far too warm for me in June. Had to take cover off and use this rather than the duvet. Leaving windows open downstairs during night was necessary as too warm but always worry about security. Keys for front door and room door could be more easily identifiable as constantly trying wrong one as look the same. Pavillion last food orders didn't align with advertised times "

"Myself and partner just had the one night away, great set up, accommodation was excellent, quaint and very clean and comfortable. Nigel(the host) was a pleasure to meet and nothing was an issue for him should there of been one. If anyone is thinking of booking here, you won’t be disappointed. "

"Easy check in, we stayed in the Arch rooms which were clean, comfortable and had a lovely courtyard which would have been great to sit in had the weather been good. Very welcoming in the pub by the Barman and great pub food"

"Starting with the positives: the room was lovely, large, well appointed and furnished to high standard, large bathroom with bath and shower. BUT if you are staying on a weekend or the night before a Public holiday be prepared for the pub to be packed and the music to be loud. We could easily hear music and voices from the bar in our room, and it wasn’t just in the background. We complained and the music did get turned down which also meant the voices weren’t as loud, but we still had to sleep...
