The photograph was taken from beside the cycle route that crosses the field, and which appears at the bottom of the photograph. The houses visible at the right-hand edge of the photo are in the Tontine Park area of Renton. [With reference to the annotated satellite view (see the link in the end-note), the nearby clump of trees in front of those houses corresponds to the northern end of C3 on the satellite view, and the more distant clump of trees just behind and to the left of the most prominent pylon shows the course of the northern part of boundary C1.]

River Leven Just upstream of Renton. The river forms a big loop here with a narrow neck. Using the cycle path you leave the river and within a few metres rejoin it again after cutting the neck of the loop.

The property was lovely. The room was very well kept and having a kitchen in the suite was great. The location was beyond words. Everything is a 15 minute walk or less and everything else you want to do is a bus or subway ride away. Couldn't be happier.
