"A wonderful location in the Black forest with the flair of the old Germany the old Black Forest the people working there were absolutely wonderful. It’s a very classy environment. Fantastic food, fantastic wine from barrels. They also have a sauna and a honor system in the seller so if you would like wine or any other beverage, you just take it put your name on it and pay at the end beautiful environment. "I experienced unfriendly staff and unwelcoming staff at the Hotel zum Roten Bären. Harsh, curt and rude. Somewhat shocking for a hotel that prides itself on being the oldest hotel in the Region! The room itself was spacious and light by European standards but had no coffee machine, or mini fridge. Coffee would be available downstairs on weekends at 8 a.m. and 7 a.m. during the week.
