- Offering unique accommodation for two guests, this characterful single-storey bolthole makes a great base for a romantic retreat. Just 150 metres from the beach, the property lies close to the heart of Abersoch, a thriving coastal village with a bustling harbour and a choice of great places to eat and drink. This is an ideal spot for surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming, or for watching the boats as they head inland along the Afon Soch. The village also has its own golf course which enjoys stunning ocean views. Just to the south-west, the long, sandy beach of Porth Neigwl (3.5 miles) stretches along for 3 miles. Exploring the surrounding Llyn Peninsula, popular local destinations include Plas yn Rhiw, Carreg-y-Defaid, and Porth Ysgo, all within 8 miles. Heading east along the coast, you can spend a day in the lively seaside resort of Pwllheli (6.5 miles).
Stepping inside this retreat, you will be greeted by a bright and colourful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, making a lovely space for you both to unwind in. The central lounge area is an ideal space to snuggle up and relax, with comfortable seating and a roaring wood burner. Over in an alcove, you will find a fully equipped kitchen area, ideal for preparing your favourite dishes, which you can enjoy around the adjoining breakfast bar. When it’s time to turn in for the night, the cosy bedroom features a king-size bed, ample storage, and a cute window seat, with a skylight set in the high, sloping ceiling. The interior is rounded off with a tiled shower room with a double shower.
Going outside, the paved courtyard garden features ample outdoor furniture, offering a relaxing spot for dining alfresco. There are also a useful outdoor shower and a tranquil sauna for you to luxuriate in after a wonderful day. Private parking is available for one car, with bike storage space in the garden.
