"This hotel has ten rooms so you will have as much peace and quiet as you desire. The beach is small and private,with access at low tide to another beach very close by. The room was large and well appointed and fulfilled all of our needs. The on-site dining was very well done with many delicious choices. The one thing you will want to be aware of is it is secluded from many day or night time activities so plan on Uber or taxis to get you to livelier surroundings."

"Everything was perfect about this property. Clean and new with all of the amenities one would need for a long or short term stay. The building does have a parking garage, which wasn’t advertised on Expedia. The restaurant upstairs on the rooftop is a steak house and is going to be a bit more expensive than the neighboring restaurants. Bit the staff was very attentive and ensured we had everything we wanted. "

"What a gem! This adorable spot is tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still conveniently close to everything. We had a wonderful stay and especially loved the delicious daily breakfasts. The provided beach umbrellas and sarongs were such thoughtful touches that made our beach days even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!"

"Beautiful and peaceful property perfect for our first visit to Sayulita. Included breakfast every morning, the best breakfasts I've had in the last few years of travel in US and Asia. The friendly property manager provided top notch service everyday so we could truly enjoy our mini-vacation. I plan to return and I am recommending Casa de la Ballena to friends and family. "

"Lalo, who runs the property, was very hospitable and accommodating! As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe walking around there the entire time. The entrance is at the top of a steep hill, so get your legs ready! Renting a golf cart for a day was quite fun. I would love to stay there again. The only reason I gave the area 4 stars is there is construction going on directly by Distrito 88. "

"The pool is gorgeous. As you step onto the deck, you're met with a spectacular view of the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean—truly breathtaking. As well the view from your room is outstanding. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Traveling as a solo female, I always felt safe both on and off the property. I cannot wait to come back to Sayulita and La Puesta. Highly recommend. "

"This place is a 10 out of 10. It was clean, quaint and had everything we needed. It’s walking distance to the town. The pool area was great, and I loved being able to walk out of my room to breakfast every morning. For the price it was great! Would definitely recommend."
