The pictures are very deceiving. They do charge for electric separately, that’s something I didn’t know when I booked. We kept the lights on because we noticed there were roaches in that house. Punta cana is beautiful but this property was not

The most disgusting place we’ve ever been to. We checked in for one night just because we had changes with our flight and our hotel couldn’t have us for an extra night because it was already all booked. This villa is located in a place where there is construction all around. The villa smells horrible and has so many roaches and flies inside! It’s so dirty and dusty everywhere! My husband me and the kids all had to sleep with clothes on Incase there were bed bugs (which I’m sure there was) The shower had no hot water my kids had to shower with cold water and after my husband callled to complain than they came to fix the water situation. On top of paying for the one night stay, the person in charge on check in made us pay $30 for electricity bill. Like seriously? How much electricity can a person use for one night ? We literally arrived at 6:00pm and left early in the morning for the flight. Horrible horrible place!! We couldn’t wait to leave

We spent fine holiday in the villa with beach access. Good staff, check in was easy and fast. There are all you need here, towels, linens. Recommend!

The place needs a major update! Old and rusted refrigerator; sticky dishes, bathroom cabinets are falling a part, shower heads are rusted and water comes from everywhere; balcony grill and furniture are old and sticky. Don't get fooled by the pictures! Beach are steps away, but you don't have OCEANVIEW, just a tiny bit! Parking it's far from the property. There is construction all around, so streets are unpaved and uneven. They charge separately for electricity. For breakfast: Only go to SOLES, right on the beach!

It’s was very quite not much happening. Perfect for peaceful quite relaxation vaca. The apartment was regular nothing much to talk about. It needs to be updated. Surroundings was nice a lot of construction going on. Felt very safe with the local people. Best of all just a few steps away from the beach. Loved it. As far as dining not much to choose from. I was look for more of the local dishes but none to be found. Bummer!!! Another thing the local shops had very limited swim suits to choose from Which was very surprising. Well I still had a great time and would go back there? Maybe because of pricing. I guess you get what you pay for. I enjoyed anyways

I would not stay here if you would like to rest. The noise was terrible at all hours of the night between loud talking, cars and motorcycles. The property is in desperate need of an update. The smell of sulfur from the water was not worth a shower. Also, if you book and prepay you must tell them when you check in. The peppery tried to charge me twice and I had to tell him I prepaid.

This place it's horrible overall, it needs maintenance for walls,paint, ceiling fan wiggling air condition not working properly, and they don't inform customers they have to paiid electricity. Horrible experience l. Don't recommend at all.

Good location, spacias clean and we had an ocean view. We had a 2 br suite with AC in the rooms which was nice. BUT, the nearby consteuction damaged the cable lines so no wifi, no tv. (Bad timing I guess). ALSO, no hot water (SMH) because other hotels close by have hot water. The last thing is you are basically paying for your electric consumption. Ours was 1,000 pesos for a 1 night stay. Be prepared for this when staying at this hotel. I would stay there again but it will not be my first choice.

Let's start with the positive: The property was right near the beach so that's a plus. Unfortunately, I had two units and both had issues. The first one: The fridge did not work, the freezer barely worked. One of the windows was broken and thus open all day and night letting heat in, air out and bugs. Not to mention a safety hazard. And if all that isn't enough... the A/C unit dripped water on my head in the master bedroom. I informed the manager, nothing was addressed before I checked out. In the second unit: Once again, the fridge did not work. Ruined all of my food. The freezer didn't work either upon arrival. They attempted to fix it, but with little success. The main issue in this unit... Is that it had no hot water for the duration of my stay. I alerted the manager they sent someone but they said it could not be fixed until another time. Well as of checkout, I never had hot water... This is unacceptable! :( I mentioned this to the manager again upon checkout and they told me to notify Orbitz for a refund. So for all this inconvenience, I would like to request a refund. And I can't reccommend this property to anyone!

Pictures are deceiving. The pool was closed and very dirty. None of the windows would lock in the hotel, and they were big windows that people could crawl through. The maintenance guy was great though. He had to break apart a broom stick to stick in the windows to keep them shut. There is a smell coming from the shower drains in both showers that permeates the villa. It was really bad. You also will pay for the electricity you use which can add up so don't be deceived by the low nightly price. We could have spent less somewhere else with nicer accommodations. It was great that it was so close to the beach though. However the beach is covered in algae... not the prettiest area either.

This property is deceptive. The man indicates to put a deposit of 400.00 in which will be returned at the end of the stay. We went grocery shopping and the refrigerator decides to go out and lost over 500 worth of food on top of not telling us anything about the fact that you pay electric like you didnt pay the 3000 up front. Crooks. Will be seeking my money back. This was horrible

On one hand this property is located right by Los Corales beach and is right around the corner from a bunch of great restaurants and bars in the Bavaro area. On the other hand, the only parking is a small dirt parking lot at the front of the property, you have to put down a 20 dollar a day deposit for your electricity use, most of which you will almost certainly not get back if you like not sleeping in hot, humid conditions. One of the bathrooms had a hole beside the toilet through which drifted the aromas of the sewer, filling the bathroom with the scent of a port-a-potty. The other bathroom was fine but did have the plastic peel from a maxi-pad stuck on the wall, so the cleanliness was lacking to say the least. Perhaps most importantly, this place isn't actually called Villas Bavaro Beach Club and Spa. I saw multiple signs which bore multiple names, none of which are Villas Bavaro. This can create problems for people planning to be picked up for excursions because there is another well-known place that IS called Villas Bavaro about a ten minute drive away and your tour guide will inevitably try to pick you up there, which did happen to us and if I hadn't rented a car or anticipated this possibility it could have ruined our vacation. On the positive side, this place is relatively quiet, calm, uncrowded and tucked away into a really fun part of Punta Cana. Ultimately, the place is not bad at all but very poorly managed.

The name of the actual place we stayed at is incorrectly listed on Expedia. That set me up in a very confusing way. The ACTUAL name is RESIDENCIAL LOS CORALES and this should be updated via Expedia by the property. It turns out there are a handful of properties on site that provide accommodations. So, whereas I thought we were staying in the white buildings with the more modern look and ocean views, we actually stayed in the orange/yellow condominiums called “La Piazetta Condominiums.” I understand at the end of the day I made the reservation; however, BOOKING THIS PROPERTY IS EXTREMELY CONFUSING! It was nice that the property reached out to me in advance regarding ride from the airport, how to find them, and about their electricity charge. Throughout our stay, anytime I reached out to them they always responded promptly. Communication was fantastic. THE BEST part about this place is that it is a literally a couple minutes walk to the beach. We were so close to the beach, shopping area, and even most of the excursion companies. It was very convenient! The free breakfast is great. The staff at Joy restaurant are very nice. We enjoyed our free meals daily. As for the actual place, it was a big letdown. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The bathrooms were not pleasant. And worst of all, on our very last day, we found a cockroach (and one of the staff assured me they had none). It was a little disturbing. I would not recommend but the area is so convenient.
