"Great welcome to the property and given advice on offers of where to eat. Room was spacious, outlook was onto car park but we don’t spend much time in there and hadn’t booked a sea view so that was fine. We were given a pass for parking. Short walk to theatre. Nathan is a lovely host, couldn’t have been made more welcome. Well done to him running the B & B on his own."

I recently stayed at this hotel , sea view suite in £180 per night, and while the property itself is aesthetically pleasing and the rooms are genuinely lovely, the breakfast experience was a significant disappointment. As someone who has stayed in over 800 hotels globally, I understand the importance of local service etiquette. However, the service here was far below what is expected for a property at this price point...

"We understood parking was available on site. This is not the case. Bank Holiday weekend, we were told to try our luck at street parking. Staff in bar were very nice. To be honest, I was violently ill after eating seafood pasta and one glass of wine at the restaurant. Although I was not angling for anything, I thought I should mention it at checkout and was told it takes 24 hours to get sick from the food. ( Not according to my system). "Stayed in the deluxe room and at over £100 for the night with no breakfast, I did expect better. Drain in the shower had smell on arrival, but sorted quickly. Went to get into bed that night and the frame the mattress sits on came away from the frame and collapsed, so at had to "re-make" the bed. Morning noticed in the shower that there was black around the shower hose and dials and also ran out of toilet paper in the night (silly dispenser type thing on wall) with no spares. "Double room with nice views of the sea and Little Orme. We’ve stayed here a few times, and recommend booking a sea or Orme view at the front. Bathroom was small, and with a shower over the bath. Would prefer walk in shower as my 81 year old hubby has recently had an artificial knee. Nice selection of shampoos, conditioners etc. Breakfast and dinner were very nice, with the usual menu of a J W Lees pub/hotel.
