Wonderful Nature Getaway
The property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I stayed here with our three pups and it was perfect. There's a fenced in little area for the dogs with a doggy door inside and a ramp so they could go as they needed to without needing to hook them up to their leashes or carry them to the fenced in area which was a major plus early in the morning while the grass is dewy and at night to avoid the mosquitoes (because there are plenty of those.)
The grounds are immaculate. The pond was full of wonderful lilys in bloom and made from some incredible photography. It really is a birder's paradise. The location itself cannot be beaten either as it's a 6 min drive to the Foxwoods and about 20 to downtown Mystic. There's also gas stations and mini marts right down the road in either direction.
The house itself is very quaint. Very rustic log cabin. There's a pool table upstairs that we unfortunately never had the energy to use because we were out and about so much. The beds are comfortable and having a washer / drier on site is very convenient.
