Malaspina Strait Tiny Home

Private quiet tiny home nestled amongst fir and cedar trees on a waterfront acreage. One bedroom with full/double bed and 2 singles in full height loft (loft recommended for adults and children 10+ but double sofa can be used for younger children). Bathroom w/ composting toilet, tub/shower combo. Full kitchen w/ gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, small appliances, etc. Smart TV w high speed internet. Large deck with BBQ. Laundry facility on site. In-floor heating, fire pit and 50A 240v EV charging recepticle. Close to city centre and bike and hiking trails.

It was the perfect get away nestled in the trees with a beautiful beach and ocean views within walking steps. The hosts are absolutely amazing. They made me feel welcome and at home right from the start. I would highly recommend this tiny home as a vacation rental. Powell River is such a beautiful place with lots of fresh water lakes to swim in as well as clean ocean beaches. It is full of forests for quiet pretty nature walks.

Awesome Tiny Home experience

Absolutely Amazing home. Had everything that you could imagine available to us. Just to highlight: full Kitchen and accessories, BBQ, TV ( which we didn't even use because we were having too great of a time there), bathroom shower and tub, fully stocked as expected, even a hairdryer, heated floors, balcony deck, fire pit with free wood, and access to laundry too!Loved the privacy and short walk to the private access beach. Great views at night and to the water as well. The Hosts are super friendly and eager to answer or help out in any way. This was an awesome experience that We will never forget.

Clean, cozy, great property and beach!

Don and Silvia are great hosts. The property is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. We appreciated having laundry available! The place is just big enough for two and a dog.The bed is extra firm and a tad small for two people—just something to consider! Otherwise there are two single beds in the loft and the couch also pulls out into a full bed.Thanks for the great stay!

From the start the communication was good; during a large windstorm the owners supplied a lantern in case of power outage. Tiny House withstood strong winds and torrential rain and felt very secure. Nice people.

Great Retreat!

I fully enjoyed my stay at this tiny home. It had everything I needed. I really loved the deck and spent a lot of time there under the trees, with a bit of a view of the ocean in the distance. Lots of bird song. Inside, I loved all of the windows! I had nice weather so didn't spend too much time in the living area (because I was on the deck), but when I did sit inside, being surrounded by all the windows made me feel like i was out in nature. The kitchen had everything I needed and was nicely organized. Bathroom was clean and everything worked well. The internet was fast - I did zoom meetings every day and had no issues at all. Sylvia and Don, the hosts, were super friendly and responsive. The neighbour who walked by every day with his dog was also friendly! I highly recommend this tiny home. A great get-away.
