Waterfront vacation home with a dock

Welcome to our Incredible waterfront retreat, a perfect place to create lasting memories on the shore of the Sakonnet River.

The fixed dock allows guests to truly access the water in the way only a dock can provide, swim, paddle-board, kayak, grab a rod and fish for dinner, Bring your own boat and hook up to our mooring if the water is rough. When the sun is setting it's time to jump in the 6 person hot tub while you watch the boats cruising by.

With 3 bedrooms and a walkout basement with futon, there is plenty of room for large families or families traveling together. The gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances and all the comforts of home including a pantry stocked with the basic cooking essentials. The dining area is located next to the kitchen with seating for 6 around a reclaimed wood dining table. The living room is comfortable with two couches a surround sound system and 55" LCD tv for movie nights. There are two levels of decks one that wraps around three sides of the house, the other on the ground level features the hot tub.

The Master bedroom suite is a retreat in itself, with a luxurious Carrara marble walk-in shower with multiple shower heads and body sprays to the custom marble double vanity you will feel pampered. The bedroom looks over the water with a small deck you truly feel like you are on a boat while relaxing on the high-end King pillow top mattress. The other 2 bedrooms are well equipped with memory foam mattresses and luxury linens, everyone will get a perfect nights sleep ready for another day in paradise.

This is the perfect location to access all that the Rhode Island shore has to offer. Downtown Newport is a short 15-minute drive, hit First or Second beach in ten minutes or head to Third beach by boat or car. In the rare event, the weather isn't perfect head to Greenvale or Newport vineyards for tastings or visit Sweetberry farm for fresh fruit, produce and farm to table prepared food.

Exceeded our very high expectations! Primary bed & bathroom … Amazing! House was stocked with everything you might need and More! Perfect location for Bride & Bridesmaids to get ready. So much space and natural light. The yard and dock were the perfect backdrop for pre-wedding photos.

Mother’s Day Getaway

This house was perfect for our Mother’s Day getaway. There were seven of us and we had plenty of space in the house. The master bedroom that overlooked the water was amazing. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. The house is close to so many things, including Newport and two wineries. We hope to book this house again at the same time next year!

The house was absolutely gorgeous, had every amenity you need, and perfect proximity to town and nature. Would stay here again and would highly recommend! The views and waking up to the sound of the water can’t be beat! Pictures don’t even do it justice - so beautiful and relaxing!

Charming and relaxing

This home hit all the elements that two busy professionals were looking for on a weekend getaway. The location is excellent, the home is immaculate and we can’t wait to return. Anyone traveling to the Newport area should strongly consider booking this home!

Amazing family stay for my daughter’s wedding.

The sunrise on the water begins the day and the home is so comfortable and spacious. The location was terrific! The master shower is spectacular. The rooms are perfectly cool with AC everywhere! Also had a chance to kayak and paddle board this morning. The homeowners were so responsive. Thanks again!

Awesome House for Bride and Bridesmaids

Amazing view

The sunset when we arrived at the house was breathtaking. The photos don’t do the house justice, great layout and all the picture windows make for amazing views all day long. Chris was very responsive to us. The beds are very comfortable which is really important to me! Great stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful views

We enjoyed the property and have very little complaints. The best part of the property is the location. We loved the views from several rooms and really truly appreciated the hot tub. The owner kept the hot tub in good condition at the appropriate temperature. We enjoyed the master bedroom shower and the air conditioning in the bedrooms. Our family made use of the weights in the gym. Finally, the beds and seating we’re comfortable. With a couple of small improvements, the property would be even better. I think the basement futon could be improved with a mattress pad and cover sheet. Thank you to the owner for sharing the property.

Stay away

Sadly this was no where near what we had hoped! Ant infestation - all over the kitchen and in the master bathroom. Exposed electrical outlets on exterior of house (not ideal with an 18 month old) Central air is on its way out, compressor was super noisy (def no where near the calming experience we had hoped for on the back deck). Upstairs had window air units to subsidize for the failing central AC. One broke during our stay. General upkeep of the property wasn’t great - you can tell this is rented, A LOT. No one cared to cut grass, weed, or take out trash. Garbage cans on the driveway were overflowing and food was all over the place when we arrived. The worst part of it all though was the lack of response from the owner (or management company?). Literally had to chase them for check in details with less than 24 hours prior to arriving. When we reached out about the ants and AC, not one response until we checked out. The icing on the cake? The attempt of the owner/management company to silence our review. They had the indecency to suggest we waive our review rights in exchange for a partial refund. I wonder how many others actually did that. Great views. Good bones. But def not worth the money.

This was the perfect location to host for my daughters wedding morning. The bright light and space was perfect for the "getting ready". Would highly recommend! Also, Chris was so accommodating, definitely would stay again!

We had a wonderful experience staying here at this beautiful home with my sister & our friends to celebrate her bachelorette weekend. The location is perfect! Close to restaurants, wineries & the drive to Newport isn’t far at all! As far as the home goes- they’ve thought of everything to make it a beautiful, cozy , comfortable & fun stay! We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings with a gorgeous view & loved the hot tub in the evenings! Everything inside was so clean & organized. They’ve done an incredible job as you feel at home within seconds of being there. The master bedroom & shower are fabulous however dark out blinds in the morning for the master bedroom would have been nice just because the room was very bright & sunny by 5:45 AM. Solar lights going down the stairway to the home from where you park would also just make it a little safer as it’s pretty dark in the evening - even with the front porch light on, making it easy to miss a step or two. Besides those little things, our experience was better than we ever could have imagined. We are already planning to return & stay at this very same place again with our husbands & children as we thought it was absolutely incredible!!!

Good, but could use updates

The amenities are there, and we appreciated the effort. Location was great, in a fantastic neighborhood. Nice view and the main house/bedrooms were good. However there were a few setbacks and the overall condition was a little lackluster, considering the price per night we don't believe the value matches the price. We would not identify the basement bed as really a nice place to sleep, wouldn't advertise that location as a legitimate bed/space. House summary identified kayaks/paddle boards and sited a waiver to use them, however no kayaks were found. No screens on the windows so we couldn't enjoy the perfect spring weather as the bee's would enter immediately. Arrived with microwave not functioning and were able to fix it. Grill was in disarray, and even with two propane tanks, we commenced cooking and ran out as both were empty - very inconvenient to have to change up during cooking and revert to inside stove top. Grill did not have adequate cleaning tools to scrape grates - we searched high and low. Random outlets and or light switches were non-functional, we can adapt of course, however at this price I would hope that all elements of the house are buttoned up and functional. Overall decent stay.

Perfect location for weekend family holiday get-away

Great spot on the water, sunrises were spectacular. Property appeared to be recently updated with great details & amenities. Large well-appointed kitchen for our stay-home night, great proximity to Newport for our night out. Beds were very comfortable.

Perfect!!

Reading reviews everyone says its a beautiful house, amazing views which they absolutely are! That shower though, OMG! It was in the master bedroom, which looked over the ocean with a balcony, was amazing!! We are definitely renting this big beautiful house again!!! The hot tub was right by the ocean! AMAZING!
