Sails Up Sea Cottage by STAY

Summary:
Relax to the sound of gentle waves. Enjoy local restaurants within walking distance, or have your meals on the deck or patio overlooking the water and Gould Island. A gas BBQ and gas fire pit make this patio area a vacation dream.
This 2 bedroom 1 and 1⁄2 bath house sleeps 4. The nautical theme is the perfect setting for family time or a weekend with friends. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming. Bring your kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes to take advantage of the outdoors.

The Space:
This home was just completely renovated. Here is how the home is laid out:

First Floor:
- Kitchen & Dining Room (seats 4)
- Full bathroom w/ vintage tub
- Cozy living room w/ electric fire place and ocean views
- Back deck w/ outdoor seating

Second Floor:
- Bedroom 1 w/ ocean views [Queen Bed]
- Bedroom 2 [Full Bed]
- Half bathroom

- Gas BBQ
- Gas Fire place
- Outdoor seating
- Waterfront property

Bring your kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes to take advantage of the outdoors. Option to rent kayaks, boards and bikes from local companies.

There is also a grass area across the street that belongs to the property. Option to rent this area for an event or small gathering. Any event must be approved by management. Please note there is an extra cost for hosting an event.

Guest Access:
This is a private home. None of the spaces are shared and you will enjoy this waterfront property all to yourselves during your stay.

The Neighborhood:
You can easily walk to the beach and many of the nearby restaurants that Portsmouth has to offer. Famous downtown Newport is just a quick drive away as well.

Getting Around:
We have enough off street parking for 3 vehicles. You can easily walk to the beach and nearby Portsmouth restaurants, or take a quick drive to the famous Downtown Newport for the day.

Other Things to Note:
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. We have a close relationship with our neighbors. If you are looking for a place to have a gathering and loud music, please look elsewhere. Parties will not be tolerated.

Interaction with Guests:
This home is managed by a local company. You will be able to self check in and enjoy the place in private. If you need anything during your stay, please let us know. We are always happy to help.

The property met our expectations and beyond. The house was charming, appointed beautifully and very comfortable. We chose the house because of its proximity to the water, which was true to the listing. Every moment that we were there we sat out on the porch taking in the view, the breeze and the lapping waves. We would definitely considering returning in the future.

Amazing view

Very sweet little cottage! All recently redone and appointed well. The view from the back deck is spectacular and exactly what we were hoping for. Parking was easy and the owners were easy to communicate with. We loved it. Our only critique would be to have a larger couch in the living room.

Perfect Vacation Location and Property

Upon arrival we knew it was going to be a wonderful vacation! The house is located right at the beach with breathtaking views and excellent privacy. The inside of the house was also perfect. The comfort rating for us is 100%!! The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful; perfect for long walks along the beach. Restaurants in the area were also great and the kitchen is full of every amenity and cooking "tool" for you to enjoy "vacation cooking." Restaurants are also great! We highly recommend this property!

What a view!

We spent most of our visit watching the cormorants out the window or on the back deck, when it was warm enough. Although we missed the sunrise, we did enjoy the sunsets. The house was a block away from Localz, which was a great spot for dinner and drinks. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated and had every amenity you would need.

Beautiful Cottage on Water

The house was beautiful and perfect for a small group. We spent most of our time on the back deck taking in the amazing views! The house was clean and well stocked with essentials, and the property owner was very responsive. The neighborhood also has several good local restaurants just steps away, and of course, everything that Newport has to offer is close by. We enjoyed are stay here and would definitely recommend it.
