The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building with an elevator (the elevator is on the 1st floor, you have to climb 1 flight of stairs) and has a privileged view over the most emblematic street of Porto, Rua de Santa Catarina. Decorated in detail, the apartment is equipped with everything you need (air conditioning included). It is ideal for couples looking for some comfortable and relaxing days in Porto, or for more executive travelers, thanks to the fantastic location.

The apartment has a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a washing machine.

The living room has a flat-screen TV, an inviting natural-lighted sofa and a dining table for 2.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, iron, microwave and coffee maker (coffee not included).

Good to Know:

– The building has an elevator starting from the 1st floor. Access from the street requires climbing one flight of stairs before reaching it.
– The apartment is located in a lively, touristic area, so some outside noise can be expected, especially during peak hours.
– Car access is limited. Vehicles can reach the adjacent street, but direct access to the building entrance is restricted.

Rua de Santa Catarina, a commercial artery 1500 meters long, is Porto’s main shopping centre. This street is absurdly stylish and romantic, with trim boutiques, striped stone footpaths and animated crowds. It's home to Porto's most ornate tearoom, the art nouveau Café Majestic, and the extraordinary azulejo-bedecked Capela das Almas.

You will find most international shops, but if you venture in the small side alleys on both sides of the street, you will find many traditional shops. You might as well not even try to resist the mouth-watering pâtisseries and do not resist the bread either because Portuguese bread is an experience! You’ll go back for more… Try "A Perola do Bolhão" a grocery store at Rua Formosa, 279 or the Arcadia bakery at Rua do Almada, 63. And while you are in a shopping mode, try one of the shoe shops to get something comfortable because we are going to take you places with this guide !

Next to the Rua de Santa Catarina, you will find Mercado do Bolhão, a typical market absolutely not to be missed! And of course the flower market (April to October) on the Praça da Liberdade (Freedom Square).

If you're arriving by plane from Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro, there are some options to get to the apartment.

￫ Metro
The closest subway station (Bolhão) is within a 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment, precisely on the corner between Rua da Firmeza and Rua de Santa Catarina.

￫ Car
If you have a rental car, please notice that there's no free parking in the area.
Taxi or Uber are also possibilities to get to the apartment, but for a faster and easier arrival, book our Airport Transfer Service (subject to an extra cost).

The nearest parking (Garagem Cardinal) is less than 100 meters from the apartment.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in time starts from 14:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided.
￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information.
￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table.
￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.
￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly consumptions exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.
