Great location

Overall the apartment was a great location and perfect for our group of 4 adults. The large bed was comfortable, the others not as comfy. The place was clean and well equipped. The biggest complaint would be that it was very noisy - traffic noise as well as restaurant noise from below. We would stay here again if visiting Porto.

7 days in Porto

We stayed in Porto for 7 day with our family of four. The apartment on the second floor was ours for that week. It's ideally situated in between the city centre and the beaches. Both are within walking distance, or you could catch a bus (or tram) on the other side of the street. There's a couple bars and restaurants close by; so is the supermarket. Making it a cosy area. Both the living and the bedrooms are quite spacious, kitchen is properly equipped. A washing machine is available which allowed us to travel light. Carlos and his son were very friendly and helpfull; being present upon check-in and welcoming us with a bottle of wine. Check-out process was smooth. During and before our stay Carlos was easily reachable over whatsapp. We were even allowed to use a couple of bicycles in the hallway. We would definitely recommend it.

Great Porto location for sightseeing

Very nice apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Property owner great to deal with. The location is a bit noisy and at the time we visited work/renovations were being done in the building so there was construction noise outside of regular work hours and some dust through out the unit. There are quite a few stairs if you have large suitcases or mobility issues. Would recommend

Great and sometimes loud location

Carlos was a superb host, meeting us when we arrived and also when we departed. The location, if you like walking as we do, was good for getting to the old town as well as catching the bus or tram to either the old town or city. The apartment is above a neighborhood of small cafes, so loud conversations and music wafted upward, often until the wee hours. We stayed three nights and enjoyed the city and the river views from the apartment.

5 days in porto

carlos and his son john kept in touch from the first day of booking , found the apartment easy enough along the river from the centre walking 20 minutes easy walk, small bar outside apartment, carlos came out introduced himself ,,, the apartment second floor was perfect for myself and four friends ,two double and two single beds, large kitchen with all cooking things you need !!!!!! large lounge with TV WOULD I GO BACK +++++ YES perfect clean great thanks again carlos+john for all your advice about porto pete+friends

achterstallig onderhoud

op eerste oog redelijk, maar veel kleine zaken zijn kapot en vies. in de keuken te weinig serviesgoed, pannen en glaswerk aanwezig om behoorlijk in het appartement te koken en eten. Blauwe bed op de foto heeft goede matras. van de andere bedden zijn de matrassen ronduit slecht. qua ligging prima tussen stad en strand.

Great view and great town

Porto is a great city to see. The apartment is in a good location to see it. Its close enough to walk to the city center to the restaurants and shops. There is also a bus that’s accessible right outside the apartment’s door. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the sights along the way. The apartment itself has three rooms of good size and nice views of the river. At night it was quiet and a comfortable place to stay. We were in Porto a short time so did not stay in and did not use the kitchen. Basic, but comfortable and convenient.

Wonderful accomodation

We totally enjoyed staying in this appartment. Very clean, spacious, located practically in the central part of Porto. Right at the train and bus stops with the wonderful views of the Duoro river and the bridge. The supermarket and restaurants were only a short walking distance, so was parking (if you travel by car). Very friendly attentive host who helped us a lot. I would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone. Thank you!
