Located in a XVII building, on the second floor (no elevator)
Renovated in 2023, it is comfortable, very centrally located near the Cathedral, with breathtaking views over the Dom Luis Bridge and Douro River.
The owners live in the same building and are happy to give you useful information about the city.
Ideal for families.
The street is not accessible by car. No praking available.

Huge! Amazing view!! Great location!!! We were a family of 5 and this was perfect, it was better than we were hoping and better than the description. It allowed us a great opportunity to explore Porto. Highlights included the great living room, the clean and large bathrooms, the well equipped kitchen, and the extra large bedrooms. We loved having the windows open and watching and listening to the bridge and city and letting the breeze come in. Would absolutely stay again next time in Porto.

The apartment was perfect for our group and the view from the livingroom of the bridge was spectacular. Had a small issue with the fireplace that was quickly resolved and it was an overall lovely experience. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, water was hot and the washing ng machine was much appreciated after 13 days of travel! Only note to future travels...no lift and several flights of narrow stairs if that's an issue.

This is the perfect location, we loved everything about this rental. Well appointed, the host was very kind and helpful. The views from the apartment are amazing. Would stay here again and highly recommend. Added bonus was there was a washing machine!!!

Convenient location close to all major sights. Full unobstructed view of the Luis bridge. Large space apartment. Difficult to get to entrance of property from street. No lift. No air conditioning. Very noisy from outside traffic and trains. One toilet not flushing. Wifi inconsistently connecting. Mouldy spare pillows.

The location was great for everything we wanted to do.The apartment was clean and well appointed.We had one issue, but was adressed quickly.Parking is an issue, but this is not an issue specific to the apartment and more of an issue with that area of the city.Would strongly recommend.

Wonderful home base in Porto

We spent 4 nights at Manor House Porto over spring break with our family of 5 including 2 kids ages 8 and 10 and a grandparent. The accommodation was perfect for us and in a prime location where we could walk, take the train, or rideshare anywhere in the city. It was clean, comfortable, and felt like home the moment we walked in. Check in was the easiest part of our trip to Portugal, and our hosts were very responsive and kind. The recommendations they gave for nearby restaurants ended up being some of our favorite places in Porto.We've stayed at a number of different accommodations during our travels, and this is one of the best. It is located on a quiet street off the beaten path, but it is just an easy walk 1 block to get to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The view of the Ribeira was amazing, and it was fun just to look out of the window and people watch. We appreciated having a washing machine for our clothes. We would not hesitate to book this property again, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto!

Our family of 4 had a terrific time at this property in Porto! The flat was large, clean, in an amazing location with a fantastic view of the river and bridge. The communication with the owner was great before and during the stay. We would definitely want to stay at this property if we return to Porto!

Amazing location and view

We loved the apartment and the owner was fantastic and very helpful. Th e location was wonderful as an easy walk to tourist areas as well as shopping, eating, and entertainment. The view of the river was wonderful. The apartment was clean. Highly recommend!

A wonderful, beautiful, perfect place

This may be the best VRBO apartment I have ever stayed in. It is huge with large ceilings, two big bedrooms, and another bed that can easily sleep two more people. It is on the top floor of an old and beautiful building and thus has great views over the city. I would definitely stay here again. One caveat, as I found to be the case everywhere I stayed in Portugal, is there is no elevator and thus hauling luggage up multiple flights of stairs may be an issue for some people. Also, there is no parking (which is in the advertisement, but I just wanted to reiterate this). The road is undergoing construction and is narrow. There is also no long term parking nearby. We ended up parking our car in a garage and it wasn't too expensive or annoying but it is something to consider.

Wonderful apartment with great view

The apartment is comfortable, quiet and has fantastic view! Owner made sure we had what we needed and everything worked great. We would definitely stay again and hated to leave!! We use VRBO all the time and this one is one of our favorites!

Family Vacation in Porto

Our stay at the Manor House was lovely! Its historic charm but updated amenities were a great combination. The views of the river and the location were particularly enjoyable. Check in and out was easy and the hosts are responsive.

Amazing views great location

Pictures almost don't do the views justice. Such an amazing old building, had everything we needed and fit 6 of us very comfortably. Location was great, Porto is very hilly so there's no way to really avoid the uphill bits at some point. The last bit of the walk to the building from the last spot a car can reach isn't all that far but it is a bit sloped and an old stone street so plan to be able to carry your luggage. Also the apartment is about 2 floors up so you need to be able to carry it there as well, very easy with carry-on size luggage and backpacks. Great host that met us when we arrived and covered everything we needed to know about the property.
