  • Nestled in one of Portland's most desirable neighborhoods, this charming home beautifully combines the character of the early 1900s with modern style and amenities. Perfectly situated between NW 23rd Avenue and the Pearl District, it offers unparalleled convenience with some of Portland's best restaurants, shops, and attractions just a short walk away; placing you within easy reach of everything the city has to offer. The home features a spacious backyard, abundant natural light, and the added convenience of off-street parking— simple luxuries that make all the difference. This property truly has it all. *per city of Portland rules and regulations* There is a separate apartment in the basement that has a separate entrance through the backyard for a long-term resident. Per city of Portland conditions B.5.a resident
    of the basement bedroom has access to the primary dwelling unit for purposes of using common areas like laundry or kitchen facilities.
    b. Commercial meetings, including luncheons, banquets, parties, weddings, meetings, charitable fund raising, commercial or advertising activities, or other gatherings for direct or indirect compensation, are prohibited.
    c. Guests on the site must not create noise impacts in violation of Portland City Title 18, Noise Control, which prohibits the following:
    • Operating or permitting the use or operation of any device designed for sound production or
    reproduction in such a manner as to cause a noise disturbance; or
    • Operating or permitting the operating or use of any such device between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. to be plainly audible within any dwelling unit which is not the source of sound.

    No outdoor spaces will be used by ASTR guests from 10 pm to 8 am.

Nicely furnished, updated decor and appliances, great location, bathrooms well done, kitchen well stocked, only suggestion is to add somePlastic / glass storage containers, lots of things nearby and within walking distance. Overall, great accommodation and convenient.

The home was exactly as described. Location was easily walkable to 23rd St boutiques and restaurants, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it was ideal for our family

We fully enjoyed our three day stay in Portland! The house was perfect and had an amazing soaking tub after a long day, taking in all of Portland.

Neighborhood was a bit loud late at night (yelling amongst residents outside one night and security from across the street involved on another night)But the house was beautiful and the third floor play room was a big hit with my 3 year old grandson!

The Old Portland Charmer is a beautifully restored, spacious home that was walkable to Washington Park, the riverfront and the lightrail. The house occupies three levels and has a peaceful outdoor space for spreading out. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a WONDERFUL place to stay! And when I say the communication was TOP NOTCH!! Best host we have ever had! The location worked perfectly for these Portland explorers. The only reason I give it 4 stars is sadly the beds were hard. We struggled sleeping with our old backs. BUT they were clean and in good condition. So really, still a winner winner.

Centrally located, family fun!

Host was very helpful and communicative, the space was modern and clean, parking was great as the whole family needed a home base as we explored Portland together. Plenty of space inside, and great backyard space too. Strongly recommended!

We Had A Blast!!!!

We loved how much care the host took with the amenities. It was amazing. Nice sheets, really cozy pillows, amazing showers. Walking distance to almost everything if you like walking which we do. I couldn’t have asked for more! We will be back for sure.

Summer Trip

We spent 4 nights in Portland and chose this house based mostly on the location. The house is basically brand new inside. It's beautiful, comfortable and bigger than it appears in thr pictures. Everything was in perfect condition, kitchen had everything we needed and the showers were fantastic...like a spa shower. We had some questions along the way and the owners were always quick to respond and offer suggestions for food and fun. I can't say a negative thing about it and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in a fun part of Portland.

Beautiful Home in Nob Hill

We LOVED our stay here!!! The home is STUNNING!!! Every detail has been attended to!! The interior is decorated beautifully, and the exterior of the home is so striking!! This is a true showpiece!! The kitchen is gorgeous and has every amenity one could ask for! We loved the double staircase leading to the second level where the bedrooms are located! The master bedroom and bath were absolutely lovely, and the master shower was incredible!! We have two teenagers, and the shared bathroom between the two guest rooms was very spacious!! No detail was overlooked!! The third floor has a HUGE playroom with ping pong table, TV and great seating!! The outdoor space was inviting and private!!! The location was great-close to lots of restaurants and shops!! Very easy walking distance to Providence Park!! I would highly recommend staying here-you will not be disposed!!!
