The Space:

Tastefully furnished in true Portland fashion, this 3BR daylight-basement apartment has a relaxed, cozy feel with large windows, a comfortable living area, and a 65" LED flat-screen Smart TV. You will have access to Xfinity and Netflix, plus fast WiFi for streaming or remote work.



Entry requires exterior stairs down to the apartment. No elevator or step-free route is documented, so this listing may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.



The layout includes an ensuite queen bedroom with its own bathroom, plus two more bedrooms down the hallway (one queen and one queen bunk bed) with a common full bathroom nearby.



If you feel like eating in, there is an equipped kitchen for your crew. After a day walking, shopping, and eating around Buckman, this is an easy spot for a soft landing. The apartment has wall heating in the bedrooms and an A/C split in the living/dining room.

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District places you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors—no chain restaurants here! Enjoy vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for an elegant night out at Castagna—all within a 1.5-mile stretch.



But Portland isn’t just for foodies. The vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with a multitude of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques, making it a true hipster haven. Catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews.



If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



*Note that there may be noise from neighboring units, we are more than happy to provide earplugs and a noise machine, to help ensure a restful night!*



*** The "laundry room" that is offered to ALL guests in the building is located on the backside of a hallway door. Guests enter via an exterior door. Please note, the door to your listing is locked and cannot be opened from this laundry room; noise from the room itself may be audible when machines are in use.

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
