Great getaway!!!

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The community was a great fit for us. Live entertainment was a short 6 minute walk away! Short walk to the beach that was absolutely beautiful!!! Fun was had by all!

great pool - did not use it. very clean, well stocked kitchen- one could live there and not buy another kitchen utencil. towels were luxurious and dried well. easy entry access. beach location access excellent. the mattress in the queen room might need to be changed but that could be me. very noisy when you go in and got and a little thin for me...but that's me my wife was fine.

The Oyster Shack is a great place to be to enjoy the beach, for scalloping, for shelling and for taking in some good eats! Great “sisters get-away” with a great location! Excellent follow-up by owner to our requests.

The property was very clean and comfortable. The beach is only a 5 minute walk. I was surprised at how big the entire complex there was. We were not able to make it to the pool due to the crowd but we had a really nice time at the beach and surrounding areas. If you do not walk a lot, you will want to rent the golf cart.

Oyster Shack is far from a shack

This was such a nice location! Convenient walkways to the beach (including sand chairs that carry everything you want to take to the beach) and a short car ride to grocery and small town boutiques and amazing eating establishments. Our teens even enjoyed taking a break from their busy schedules to unwind in this quiet and quaint community!

Peaceful and cozy

My family attended a wedding in Port St Joe. We wanted a house that would be large enough for the entire family, but wouldn’t break the bank. This property was perfect! The house was beautiful, and just the right size for us. The walk to the beach on the boardwalk was great for the kids to get to the beach safely. The area was not busy, so everything about the trip was peaceful. We will definitely be back!

The house itself was lovely! Very clean and beautifully decorated. It is a good walk from the pool, especially with two young kids. Definitely rent the golfcart for the pool. Two of our reasons for renting this house were 1. Garage parking, but we were unable to park in the garage due to the golfcart and another vehicle being in there. 2. We cook a lot, but found out there wasn't any gas for the grill, not even a container. More towels would be excellent, and the vacuum cleaner had a prong missing on the cord and part of the cord was wrapped in electrical tape? Be sure to bring/buy extra toilet paper and paper towels if you're staying an extended period of time. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. Great location.

Wonderful!!!

Our stay at The Oyster House was absolutely fantastic. The home is beautiful, spacious, and has all the amenities you could ask for and more. The access to the boardwalk and beach was convenient and it was great to be able to walk around the property. Nights sitting on the screened porches was so relaxing. The property owner was very good in communicating with us about our stay and how everything worked. The location is centrally located to shopping, restaurants, etc… I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing beach stay!!!!

Home was very nice ,spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the short walk to beach on boardwalk. Small fire outback was delightful in evening. Close to great eateries seafood was delicious shipwreck and Indian pass restaurants. Ocean was very relaxing w white sand and not crowded. Pool was beautiful as well. Nice size plenty of seating w playground for kids. We definitely want to return. Very pleasant trip. Highly recommended... Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!!!
