Discover history at the Sanilac County Historic Village & Museum, steps from your door. Enjoy modern comforts like a washer/dryer, a fully stocked kitchen, and a spacious fridge/freezer. Ideal for a relaxing getaway or cultural exploration.

    Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of $250 is required for this stay and is released after checkout if there is no damage. After booking, you`ll receive a link to complete online check-in, where you can pay the deposit or choose a non-refundable damage waiver of $39 in place of the deposit, which covers accidental damage during your stay
    HOUSE RULES:

    - Do NOT park on road or in neighbors` way!
    - All furniture must be put back where it is found!
    - No Shoes on while inside the home
    - Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
    - Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
    - Garbage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
    - You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
    - Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

We had a nearby family wedding, and this home couldn’t have been easier. Plenty of room for our family.

Port Sanilac

We prefer a rental with kitchen so we do not have to go out to eat! The Port Sanilac location met our expectations and needs!

Ladies weekend

We were in the area to explore the lakeshore towns of the Thumb area. We enjoyed the laid back vibe of all the cute lakeshore towns and hospitable people in the area. We are all from tourist towns on Lake Michigan and truly enjoyed being the tourists in the Thumb! Beautiful area I will definitely be back with my husband! This home was well appointed, comfortable and well located.

Pt Sanilac Getaway

Overall, we had a great stay in this house. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds were very firm. The kitchen had everything we needed if we had decided to cook but we chose to eat out both nights. The Stone Lodge (restaurant/bar) is right next door and there are a couple other bars/restaurants within walking distance. We'd definitely stay again if we go back to this area.

Fun house with great location

The location here could not have been better. It's right on the main road just south of town. We were able to walk right in for food or visiting the park. Ample parking right at the front door is convenient. The rooms look so nice with the fresh coat of paint and the host responded very quickly to questions

Lakeside weekend getaway.

Well appointed house that’s been beautifully updated. Very large kitchen and living room and nice size dining area as well. Situated on main street right near the middle of town. Only suggestion I may have is to have a tv in each of the 3 bedrooms and not in just 1. Had a very nice weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
