Weeki Wachee weekend
the house is conveniently located on the river. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs one with a king and the other a queen. Each room has its designated bathroom. Both have full showers. The kitchen is roomy, full fridge, stove top, oven and microwave. The living space has a fireplace and a large flat screen tv.
The backyard has 2 screened in patios, one upstairs and one downstairs. Outside there is 6 kayaks available to use, with paddles and life vests. There is a floating dock that makes it super easy to get on and off kayaks.
I have stayed at this location before and was super excited to revisit, however my stay wasn’t as up to par as my previous. A few comments below:
Access to the property was never shared with me. I was told I would receive an email from Vrbo 48 hours before the rental start with codes to get into the house. Day of rental start, I contacted owner through the Vrbo app asking for access none was provided. We were lucky, the sliding glass door was left open. However this posed a security threat cause we were never able to fully lock the house when we left, we had to leave all valuables in our cars.
My paid reservation should of included access to the bottom unit, I even inquired about it prior to renting, but since I never received a code to get in, we were unable to use that floor. One of my friends spent the weekend on the floor with whatever linens we could find and extra pillows, because he had no bed to sleep on.
