A little gem surprise here in France

I would recommend this to anyone coming from the states to see D- Day history and have a beautiful apartment and a wonderful host while doing it.

Big Disappointment

No meet& Greet. Just collect key in Bayeux and drop off in Bayeux on completion. Very inconvenient. The property description made no ref. to the living accom. being at 1st floor level up what can only be described at best as an extremely demanding staircase up which, on arrival we had somehow to drag our luggage and at the end of our holiday get our cases down. Three level changes as soon as you opened the entrance door! Toilet and bathroom facilities are at ground floor level so you can imagine what the problems of the need for a 'comfort break' at 3.00am are after a few glasses! Amid all that stress we found that there was no information pack giving emergency numbers etc. In forty years of booking holiday cottages that had to be a first .Even the advertised TV didn't work. The description of this property is totally inadequate and fails to warn would -be renters of any of the above difficulties and we would suggest that the accommodation is definitely not suitable for people over 50 or people or with any physical disabilities, Best thing about this place? The shower! Pity about the above shortcomings because the location of the property and the Port en Bessin are lovely. For a couple of relatively active 80 year- olds this turned out to be a really stressful break,

Spacious holiday home off quiet side street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home which was conveniently located and a short walk to the center of town with cozy restaurants and lovely views of the water. The home had a modern shower and bathroom with lots of pegs to hook items or keep luggage. Walking upstairs to a spacious inviting living room and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and clean and the closet space was along the entire wall. The window view opened up to roof tops with the feel of a true country stay. We would definitely come back. Picking up and dropping off the key in Bayeux was very straight forward with easy directions.

A delightful hideaway

If you're looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway, yet easy access on foot to everything you could need AND to the amazing harbour and history of Port en Bessin look no further than 'Pluto'. A delightful hideaway, lovely and clean and perfect for two.

Angenehme Unterkunft in toller Lage

Die Unterkunft liegt abseits vom Trubel, zu Fuss ist man in 3 Minuten am Hafen und in 2 Minuten beim nächsten Supermarkt. Toll ist die dazugehörende abschließbare Garage - somit entfällt die lästige Parkplatzsuche. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur lief problemlos über WhatsApp. Der Schlüssel muss in der naheliegenden Stadt Bayeux abgeholt werden - die Rückgabe des Schlüssels passiert in der Unterkunft. Die französichen Agenturmitarbeiter sprechen sehr gut englisch und sind pünktlich und zuvorkommend. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in der Normandie werde ich diese Unterkunft ganz sicher erneut buchen!
