Downstairs is the open plan living, dining and chefs kitchen overlooking the heated swimming pool and courtyard. Also on the ground floor are two generous sized bedrooms and a family bathroom with spa bath. Update on photos

The accuracy on your photos is a little misleading because it does not show the glass around the pool which really does not need to be there it gets in the way.It shows the roof fully open, my poor wife was not strong enough to pull it back with me, would work better on winder pulley or electric motor.Steps to get in and out of the pool would a great thing to add.Sorry I am a bit health and safety mad.Other than these few little niggles we enjoyed our stay at Donavons Reef and would possibly return.Paul & Mary.

Great Location

Great house and facilities. Pool is very deep and finish around the pool was worn and caused a few scrapes and cuts. This was the only issue. The house was wonderful in a fantastic location.

Beautiful home in Port Douglas

We had an amazing time in Port Douglas! We spent five days at Donovan’s reef. The home was very spacious, clean, lovely decor and well equipped with all the necessities for cooking if you chose. The location was quiet and only a five minute drive to town center. The pool was lovely after a hot day in the sun. Management was top notch to communicate with. I had left my earbuds behind and they were so kind to mail them back to me. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Great Stay

Highly recommend it for those that want to see the beach from where they are staying and walking on the beach. Short walk to the tavern and beach shack and Koi which are both excellent restaurants.

Great vibe!

Fantastic stay. Love the vibe of the house. Really enjoyable space. Located in a quiet street with easy access to the beach and a playground at the end of the court! Fantastic place, would definitely stay again! Just for future booker's... The pool is about 2m deep with seats/step in each corner, pool noodles were supplied and needed to relax. And the parking is at the rear which wouldn't be a problem for a normal size car but very tight/difficult access for patrols and land cruisers. But quiet court, no problem had parking on the street.

Best house, Port Douglas

Property was an absolute awesome find. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Comfortably sleep 6 adults. Stunning centre plunge pool with retractable roof. West wing was spacious and had the laundry and car port. East wing was the grand palace, with a stunning staircase which led up to the master four posted bedroom, with walk in wardrobe and spa bathroom. Also ocean views from the balcony. To finish, this location was what made our stay in Port Douglas an unbelievable holiday. The home was kitted out with everything you would require and then some. From bed clothes, swimming and beach gear, to an awesome kitchen and pantry.

Lovely family property opposite 4 mile beach

Chris the property manager couldn't have been more helpful...local recommendations were excellent and when we had a problem it was resolved quickly with no fuss.
