The Deck House offers privacy for groups with 4 bedrooms, Full Kitchen/Washer & Dryer. Bonus Space is a full efficiency with the 4th bedroom, kitchen and private bathroom. Guest's will love The Deck House and all the extra's that are provided. Get more privacy than a hotel room and for less money! Patio set and gas grill/griddle on the deck. For larger groups check out renting the entire building The Gathering Place #4477113 (or Suite Maries Lake Erie Retreat #194403 with 4 bedrooms and 1.1 bathrooms)
Located close to downtown Port Clinton, beaches and park. Close to Jet Express to Put-In-Bay and Kelly’s Island, Fishing Charters, Shopping, and Restaurants. Approximately 20 minutes to Cedar Point. Close to State Route 2. Great for a get-away or fun at the lake. Accepting most major credit cards.

Port, Clinton’s best kept secret

The location was great, the price was reasonable, and the apartment was clean and perfect with three separate bedrooms. The deck was a bonus! It was super hot when we were in Port Clinton over Labor Day weekend and that deck was so nice. There was a constant breeze, you could see the lake, and you just felt very relaxed and comfortable. I kind of like that the friendship food store was just a walk around the corner. It made it nice to get snacks, coffee, beer, anything you wanted and you didn’t have to drive for it. It is pretty centrally located as well., Near beaches, Jet Express, African Safari (which was very cool with the new dinosaur exhibit), anything you wanted to see, was just a stone’s throw away. Sheryl, our host was very helpful and we appreciate that she had this apartment for rent for our family, especially with all the recent flooding that Port Clinton experienced just prior to our stay.

Cozy Place

I loved the setup of this apartment. It was a cozy space, but has privacy for those who need it. I liked that we could walk to a restaurant. There are places very close. We had a great time!

Well maintained and clean!

Highly recommend! Very clean. Includes everything you need! We had 2 families which included a 9 month and 4 yr old. No pool or beach onsight but short driving distance to either. Great communication with owner too! Very helpful!

Amazing Stay and Hosts!

My stay at The Gathering Place was so enjoyable. The home is clean and the hosts were beyond welcoming and helpful. Easy access to beaches (even a view of water from top porch deck!) and ferry. Highly recommend.

Camp Perry Regular

We stay at Suite Maries or the Deck whenever we can if we are at the Camp Perry National Matches/Camp Perry Open. Seems like each time we stay there is yet another upgrade to the property... new Washer/Dryer, big screen TV, remodeled entrance. We've been going there for at least 10 years and will continue to go.

It would be better if you rented the entire house. The walls are thin. Also parking needs to be designated. We were supposed to have 4 spaces and only got to use 1.

All amenities listed were provided and more. Pool was a short drive away and was not crowded at all. Location was perfect, central to all ferries, Marblehead and downtown Port Clinton. Definitely someplace we would stay again.

The Deck house

Great location for a trip to the Islands or Cedar Point. Clean, has many items included to make your stay comfortable, plenty of towels, kitchen items etc. The beach is right down the street and you can see pretty sunsets. The pool access was a bit vague but we didn't use it, if a pool is important to you this may not be your place. If you are traveling with kids it is great to have separate bedrooms for them, my teen and preteen loved that. Over all a nice big place at a fair price. I would stay here again, easy communication with owners as well.

Great Location and Sheryl was wonderful host!

This property was in a great location and just minutes away from everything we wanted to do. The place was just like the pictures show. We enjoyed the newer appliances and everything was clean. Sheryl was great to work with as she is very knowledgeable with the area and gave us some very good suggestions. We even got a special gift to drive through the African Safari which I recommend! Thanks again!

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at Sheryl and Bob’s place! Sheryl was very informative about local attractions and places we could visit with our children. We had planned on a day of rest one day during our stay, but Sheryl suggested we visit Put-in-Bay. She knew we would all love it and boy was she right. We had an awesome time exploring the island. The unit itself was clean, had everything we could possibly need while on vacation, and had plenty of room for our family of five. Thanks Sheryl and Bob!

Great Time in Port Clinton!

We really enjoyed staying at The Deck House. The owner is fantastic to work with and made it a great experience. The house was very clean, which is very important to us! We loved the deck and the added personal touches that were in the house. Would recommend!
