Aspen Cottage - Stylish Cottage with Sea Views

Stunning sea views and beautiful birdsong converge at this idyllic and private cottage nestled in the trees in Plimmerton. Relax on the sunny patio with a coffee or glass of wine, curl up with a good book or magazine or simply let your mind wander in charming surroundings with both bush and sea views.

Aspen Cottage offers beautifully presented studio accommodation with modern beach-chic decor. Cute and full of character, the self-contained studio is separate from the owner's house, and has its own private entrance and off-road car parking.

Plimmerton is a picturesque seaside village conveniently located 25 minutes north of Wellington city. With safe swimming beaches, excellent local eateries and stunning coastal scenery, Plimmerton is a popular and sought after destination.

A 5 minute walk from Aspen Cottage will take you down to the beach front and Plimmerton Boating Club. From there it is a scenic 15-20 minute walk along the esplanade to the village shops.

Plimmerton train station is located in the village, allowing easy access to both Wellington city and the Kapiti Coast. Train or car to Wellington is approximately 25 minutes. The ferry terminal is 20 minutes drive.

Porirua city is a quick 10 minute drive or train ride with attractions such as Te Rauparaha Arena, Pataka Museum, Aquatic centre and North City shopping mall.

Lovely gem of a place

Beautiful little Bach. Great location, peaceful with lovely outdoor space and fabulous views over Plimmerton bay. Super clean, very nicely decorated with everything you need for a few days away including a very comfy bed. Can’t recommend Aspen Cottage highly enough!

Great confortable private place

What a great place. Small but had everything you needed. The view was wonderful wih a large comfortably furnished patio space. Unfortunatly we arrived very late and were only thyere for a day,wish we had more time to enjoy the place.

Charming little place with extraordinary views from the windows.

Small but Charming place to stay. Hostess was friendly and helpful. A short walk to the beach and the village. Also a short train ride to Wellington. Beauty surrounds you.

Beautiful hideaway

Very beautiful cottage -- very clean, quiet, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Julie is a very gracious host and offered great recommendations for restaurants in the area. I will definitely stay there again.

Cute and convenient!

A darling little place with a lovely view, conveniently close to Wellington by car or train. Julie was a pleasure and was very flexible when our ferry got rescheduled at the last minute. Highly recommended!

Classy Cottage

This is a very cute little cottage. Yes, it’s tiny, but has everything you need and then some, including a wonderful view! A beautiful patio area is great for lounging and enjoying that view. Julie is a joy! She is a great hostess, and very helpful about touring the area. A great stay!!

Bijou Stay In Plimmerton

The host Julie was very hospitable and easy to communicate with - she lives nest door. The property is very, very small and was a just get by for a couple of nights. We were visiting Wellington therefore ideal as a base.

We really enjoyed our stay. The space was perfect for a couple. It is very clean and comfortable and there is a great attention to detail. The sitting area outside has an amazing view and this is where we enjoyed our coffee every morning. Julie was a lovely host.

Cute little cottage on a hill in Plimmerton

This was a very quaint and cute hideaway in Plimmerton. A little hard to access but lots of privacy. We found it was pretty small. Good view of the water from up on the hill. Owner is friendly.
