We've had a very enjoyable holiday staying at Villa Llenair. There were 5 of us in total - my husband and I and our 3 grown up children, and there was plenty of space for us all. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable, and the sitting room and terrace overlooking the sea were particularly lovely, because of the views. The villa is about 20-25 minutes walk into the centre of town, a walk we really enjoyed, because it followed the coastline for the whole distance, and provided welcome exercise after the excellent meals we had. (We did tend to eat out in the evenings, because there were so many really good and reasonably priced restaurants to choose from - favourites 'Stay' and 'Zarzales' - although there were plenty of utensils etc at the house if we wanted to eat in.) We stayed at the villa for the first 2 weeks of May, and the weather was rather cold and cloudy for much of the time, and the pool was freezing! Nevertheless, we did swim and we did have a very relaxing holiday.
We have stayed in villas across Europe for many years, and this villa competes with the best of them. On reflection, we would have appreciated a welcome pack, which some villas provide with e.g. tea, coffee, sugar - and we would have found it helpful to have more mugs and more cleaning equipment i.e. jay cloth, dish cloth, more than one tea towel, and a Visitors' Book, recommending where to go and what to see - but these are very minor things. We definitely plan to return to Villa Llenair in the future - but probably a bit later in the year next time.
