Situated in the award winning Cypress Lakes Golf Resort, our Villas offer comfort, style and ease. Conveniently located in the heart of the Hunter Valley countryside, expect to be in awe from the amazing views within and around the resort grounds and beyond to the local farms and mountain ranges surrounding the valley. 

Try your hand at golfing through the Pro Shop, explore multiple vineyards in the immediate area or just relax on your private balcony with a sampling from the local wineries. Take a day trip to the east of Lovedale to explore the Werakata National Park, meander south-west to Wollombi or enjoys the prize of nature in the Aberdare State Forest. Take a breath and soak in that OMG! moment.

Overlooking the championship golf resort complex, our self-contained luxury retreat apartments offer 2 bedrooms with 2 x gorgeous bathrooms. Offering sunny & spacious living areas, air-conditioning and a large entertaining balcony with relaxing views to the mountains and/or resort complex.

Self contained, fully equipped kitchen incl oven, cooktops, microwave, sink, fridge etc. Linen provided to 5 star standards.  Perfect for 2 couples. These privately owned & operated villas can offer you flexible check-in & check-out times (subject to availability) and always the best, non-resort inflated rates available.

Note: this is a general listing covering a selection of Villas within the resort under our management. The pictures provide a snapshot of the variety available. The exact 2 bedroom Villa for your stay is subject to availability and only assigned once your booking is confirmed. As there are a variety of Villas, some have fireplaces, some do not and some are single story and some are double storey.

This is a 2 bedroom Villa offering 2 Kings beds, an en suite and a main bathroom.
Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, spacious veranda, air-conditioning.

Bedroom 1: 1 King Bed
Bedroom 2: 1 King Bed OR 2 x single beds available on request
*Exact bedding is dependant on Villa availability. Some Villas offers only 2 Kings and some Villas only offer 1 Kings and 2 Singles.

This villa is privately owned and managed. Securing a reservation through Weekenda at Cypress Lakes affords unlimited access to the public bar & restaurant and the Owners Hillside Pool only. It does not at any time afford access to the resort run pool or gym. Rounds of golf and tennis court hire can be arranged directly through the Pro Shop.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.

Arrival Details: Access to the property is made simple. You’ll receive an access code via SMS just before 3pm on your arrival day, which you’ll use for the duration of your stay.Standard check-in is at 3pm. While an earlier arrival may be possible, it cannot be confirmed until the afternoon prior to your arrival. If an earlier check-in is available, we will send you an SMS by 4pm the day before to confirm.

Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO

Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - to help reduce wastage, we supply a single bottle of 3in1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. In addition, guests are advised to bring their own personal preferred bathroom products/amenities.

Wifi is provided complimentary on behalf of the owner. It is intended to be used in an appropriate manner by all guests. As the service is provided by an external 3rd party, Weekenda cannot and do not guarantee the speed or efficacy of this property's wifi connection nor do we pay any compensation for interruption of service for any reason.

Pools: Weekenda guests have unrestricted access to the Owners/Hillside Pool located on the corner of Chardonnay Terrace & Vintage Avenue. Weekenda Private Villas are not afforded access to Oaks Managed Resort facilities which include the resort/lagoon pool, tennis courts and gym. The Owners/Hillside pool is open for swimming from the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.

No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behavior.

Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.

Cameras and Noise Monitoring: There are no external security cameras at this private Villa but please note Cypress Lakes is a complex with commercial offerings of a golf club, restaurant and bar. As such, external cameras are present in these communal areas managed by Oaks and not associated with the host. For the future, the private Villa owner reserves the right at any time to install external cameras at their discretion. Any camera install will be in line with local regulations. A noise monitoring device is installed - fines apply to guests found to have disconnected, removed or damaged the noise device. These devices are used to monitor and maintain ours and guests responsibilities under the NSW STR Code of Conduct.

Guest Registration / ID Check : Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.

Critical Update: Due to an unprecedented influx of fraudulent bookings, we are forced to impose a policy that protects our clients, industry and community against those attempting to commit fraud and theft. Any booking made within 5 days of arrival is required to provide a photo of a valid credit card in the same full name of the primary guest to match the supplied identification document. Failure of these documents matching will result in the booking being cancelled and all funds processed returned to the original card assumed as stolen and thus a fraudulent transaction. We trust we have our honest and genuine customers understanding this policy is in place to protect all parties.

Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

From booking, paying, checking in, our accommodation to checking out was seamless. The apartment was so clean and tidy. Originally was booked for 2 couples but they couldn't make the trip at the last minute so was just 2 of is in a 2 bed apartment. It would have been so comfortable with the 4 us especially since separate bathrooms. Only fault if you want one is there was no tongs or bbq utensils and there was no instructions on how to use the oven and the remotes but that is being unbelievably picky.Thanks so much for our amazing vacation. Oh and it was a bit annoying not being able to use the resort pool. The other pool is pretty small in comparison and was too full every time we went to check... but.... we were made aware of resort access so it was ok.Only com

Nice privately owned property within the cypress lakes resort. Mattress very hard though and uncomfortable.Hillside pool dirty, not enticing, no access to resort pool, disappointing when it was 38 degrees. Not very disabled/ elderly friendly grounds, very hilly and lots of stairs. No lift in the village centre between floors to access restaurant and bar.

We have stayed many times at Cypres Lakes but not through Stayz. First of all the directions to the Villa were poor. We could not find it and had to speak to reception. The day before I was also told that there were repairs going on in the bathroom so did I want to stay in a different villa as I would not be able to use one of the bathrooms? If Iam paying for it I want to use it but I do t want to smell glue the whole time. When we got in there the tables were dirty and not even wiped down even though supposedly there had been a morning inspection of our villa. We were in a downstairs villa and there were people upstairs. For 2 days all we could hear about us were these people walking around till all hours. We had no sleep at all. When I contacted Stayz after the first night the manager did nothing but argue with me and basically told us to lump it. So if you gave bad people you can’t do anything about it. The worst stay I have ever had at Cypress. No sleep, dirty room no help.

The unit was lovely and suited 2 couples really well. Only a couple of negatives, I don’t remember reading about all the stairs to get to the unit, the lounge is really not comfortable ( we wanted to relax at the end of a long day exploring the area) and no face washers in the bathrooms. The unit was well fitted out with air conditioners. Coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave and stove. It is well situated in the Cypress Lakes area with easy access to all the attractions of the Hunter Valley.

A fantastic property. Big comfortable beds, well furnished throughout. Property was clean and well equipped for the stay. Lovely views onto the golf course. Owners pool was perfect for a swim and not too busy. easy parking and access to and from the property. A great family or romantic getaway. very close to hunter valley gardens and surrounding wineries, pubs and attractions.
