I was nervous about this resort reading prior reviews. We were upgraded on check in to a sea view room, it was beautiful. The front desk staff were all very helpful and answered all my questions. Our check out was later on in the evening and the hotel gave us towels and a place to store our bags so we could enjoy another beach day. They also have a shower stall near the lobby. We used the loungers next door at yialo yialo for 30 euro each front row, 25 euro each for second row and back. Hotel transport contacted us via what’s app to arrange transfers. To town was 35 euro each way. From airport it was 40 euro. Breakfast was continental style buffet, a variety of choices. The beach and location were gorgeous. If you’re booking a budget room then expect that, that’s the same for any resort. If you book the sea view you should have no complaints. This was a great hotel for us (middle aged mom and teen daughter).

I found this property quite charming. The stairs were a bit daunting for me to carry suitcases up and down, but my room was delightful. One caveat they requested toilet paper, not be flushed and being from the US that did gross me out a bit, but I complied. The outdoor dining and sitting area was two levels that faced a garden and also Mykonos Bay. There was a nice breeze, which even made the heat not so unbearable. The location is very walkable along the beach to all the activities in Mykonos. My AC in my room worked perfectly, and there was plenty of space. If I return to Mykonos, I will stay at this property again. There was a great value for the money. The breakfast was very good and the people were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalea Mykonos and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is beautifully designed, modern and feels brand new. The location is perfect – just a short walk from Ornos Beach, with great bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Whenever we needed anything, such as an iron or extra pillows, our requests were handled quickly. We also really appreciated being able to upgrade to one of the private pool rooms for our final day, which made the end of our stay even more special. The only small area for improvement would be communication. We experienced a few misunderstandings regarding our room arrangements, but everything was resolved in the end. Breakfast was one of the highlights. Alessio & Stathis made every morning such a lovely experience and remembered our coffee order from day two onwards. Those little personal touches made us feel genuinely welcome. If you stay here, definitely try Stathis' signature popcorn cocktail! A special thank you also goes to Maria at reception, who was always incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. Overall, Kalea is a beautiful boutique hotel with stylish rooms, a fantastic location and a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

The room we got was incredibly small with no privacy or separate bathroom space to shower. If you're not a couple or intimately affiliated, it's an extremely tight squeeze. Additionally, there was a plumbing issue in our room. A leak by the toilet and the sink was backed up. Outside of those few things, the stay was pleasant. I would make it a point to keep the visit short. The staff was sweet, we felt safe, and it was centrally located. I would stay again for a short duration.
