Got moved into a different room for the remainder of the stay but the heating still didn’t work. That along with the lift not working from the first floor causing us to carry luggage up each day. Staff were great, but the overall experience of the stay left a lot to be desired. "

"First off, the staff at this hotel was very good. Kind, responsive, professional. The pieces of the hotel outside of my room was overall as expected for a building of this age. However, my room was awful, no ventilation at all, it smelled like cigarette smoke, the floors were oddly sticky so walking barefoot was not possible, the lighting was awful (suggest a replacement of bulbs for a softer ambiance). But the real problem was excessive black mold in the shower. By excessive, I mean...

"We arrived quite late, around 9pm so parking was a little challenging initially. Check in was efficient and staff on reception were amazing and very welcoming! Room decor was a little tired but comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant wasn’t great and quite pricey but the ladies serving were receptive to our feedback so a minor point. Again staff in the Restraunt were very attentive in the evenings and at breakfast. I would recommend the hotel for its central location for the City...
