Beachfront Villa

This oceanfront villa has 4 bedroom, 5 and a half baths, with three of those bedrooms in the main house and a queen size bed and pullout couch in the guest house, accommodating 10 total. The courtyard comes with a private pool and gated parking spot for one car. There is a security system, full wifi, and our guard who lives on the property 24/7 in his own house on the compound. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are all located on the second floor and boasts an outdoor space with ocean views. The rooftop deck has its own outdoor couch, full kitchen (fridge, grill, sink), and half-bath. The home comes with all cooking and baking essentials and appliances. There is also a built-in dishwasher, which is user friendly. All outlets in the home accept standard American plugs.

Beautiful home, beautiful location

Absolutely loved the house and the location. The house was immaculate. Steps from the beach. Not crowded and overall wonderful beach vibe. Great restaurants and shops close to the house.

A fantastic beach location in Playa Grande

We LOVED our stay at this wonderful house. We travel extensively and have stayed in many homes. This is right up there with the best. The views of the ocean and instant access to the beach are magnificent. There’s also a small pool for a change of pace. The house was beautifully decorated with very comfortable sitting areas, beds, ac, and bathrooms. Great kitchen and gathering spaces, including a large kitchen table that was perfect for our family of 7 to both eat and play games. We also loved the town of Playa Grande. It was so much more chill than Tamarindo and there were many nice low key restaurants. We particularly liked Pots and Bowls. The host and staff were really responsive and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to book this place again.

Gorgeous house with the best views

We loved our stay. The house is gorgeous. The staff went beyond to make sure we had everything we need. The sunsets every night on the rooftop deck were breathtaking. The pool was a life saver on hot days. Other then the beds being on the firm side, we loved everything about this house.

Beautiful house beautiful location!

We had such wonderful time! The house is very meticulously maintained with perfect access to the beach. Jen and Ignacio are the nicest most welcoming care takers. We had everything we needed and more! Waking up every morning and strolling to which ever surf spot we desired was such a treat! And when the surf session was complete we had a plethora of options for some of the freshest breakfasts and coffees! Dinners too! One of the best hosts, house and location for a vacation!!!

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Place

We stayed at Casa Pequa for eight days in February and could not have picked a more perfect place. The location and house were both amazing. Both the house manager, Jenny, and the grounds keeper/guard, Ignacio, went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our whole stay. The house and decor were beautiful and the views from the rooftop deck and upstairs patio were stunning. The house was right on the beach and the surf break out front was not too crowded, and you cannot beat the walk-out, walk-in convenience. Everyone agreed it was a magical week and would not have changed a thing.

Terrific house and location

This home is one of very few in Playa Grande that actually is on the beach - the house is well appointed, spacious, had everything we needed in the kitchen, nice furniture inside and out. Upside down house, so kitchen/living area is on the second level and you have to use the stairs (outside) to access it. Terrific views from the second and third (rooftop deck) levels, walk out the gate to the mostly empty beach, gorgeous sunsets every night, great kitchen and bedrooms and pool/deck, two minute drive to all the Playa Grande restaurants (The Beach Club, RipJack's Pots and Bowls, and Huerto were our favorites). We were a family of 6 - parents had the big bedroom, two kids had their own rooms in the main house, two kids shared the guest house. There is a 24 hr onsite caretaker/guard, so no concerns about leaving any belongings in the house (we never felt any concerns about crime anywhere in CR - especially in Playa Grande - during our trip and we traveled widely). There is also a local manager who speaks excellent English who answered any questions we had about the house during our stay. Playa Grande was a much better home base for our quieter family trip than Tamarindo, which was about a 30 min drive and we only visited once. We whitewater rafted on the Tenorio River and hiked La Leona Waterfall, both of which were great and less than two hour drives from Playa Grande. We also arranged for a snorkeling trip and visited Playa Real to watch turtles laying eggs (Jonathan down at the Tortugas Hotel was our guide). Great trip overall and the house was perfect for us. Playa Grande

My family enjoyed everything about this home. All the people we touched during the process were helpful and prompt. The home is one of a kind with exceptional views, nice amenities, and overall a very well taken care of property. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Perfect

This property was absolutely perfect! The home was stunning, perfect location, and fantastic views. The kitchen was immaculate and well stocked with equipment. The owner was very responsive and the management staff was a pleasure to work with. My family traveled to surf and we had lefts and rights directly in front of the house. There was a large break and a smaller break on the outside...perfect for my family with different levels of abilities. The home is walking distance to the heart of Playa Grande! Fantastic vacation home! Pura Vida!
