"Clean, comfortable room with a great sea view. Welcoming staff, and a good breakfast. Appreciated the log fire in the lounge in the evening. Hotel is a little dated and the only negative was the rather strong air freshener. Fabulous location makes up for that."

There was a weather incident upcoming during my stay and they were very knowledgeable. Also it was just nice to talk about living there rather than the usual hostel talk. The beds were good and comfortable. Having a curtain really shuts you away and gives a good sleep. So very happy for that. Always loved the breakfast spread. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place. "
