Neither good or bad. First, I received the text to open the main door in the morning (I had to ask again on WhatsApp at 11.30am as I had had radio silence since sending my ID 2 days before). I had asked if it were possible to leave my luggage in the lobby as I was arriving 1h ahead of check-in. No answer. None of the numbers at the reception worked. Left my luggage, went for lunch. Came back at 2pm. No key, no one there. Left for a coffee. Came back at 2.30pm. Keys were there, huzzah. Room clean, bathroom too. No ants or plague insects mentioned in previous reviews. Relief. Only one socket working, plus the one for the hairdryer in the bathroom. Above head shower head clogged, not working. Otherwise everything normal. Mattress was comfy. TV not working, who cares. At this point I was still pretty happy about the hotel despite the price. Morning time. I had paid for breakfast, hoping to wake up early to explore the city before my flight early afternoon. The breakfast room was closed, no noise or cooking smell in the lobby. Went back to take a shower, packed my bags. 9.30am, still nothing. WhatsApp radio silence again when asked about issue. Left without breakfast. Wasted 2.5 hours waiting. So overall review: Clean, well located hotel. Too expensive for the amenities provided. Don't book the breakfast and waste your money. Do not expect anyone to fix any of your issues, as no one will answer you and no one is on site. I would not rebook there in the future for those reasons.

Hotellet er fint, men består av flere forskjellige deler. Litt forvirrende, vi reiste tre i samme følge og bodde i tre ulike seksjoner. To av dem var utenfor hotellet, som føltes usikkert og rart. Ellers flott, men stor variasjon på rom til samme pris.

Good location by the water bus stop on the Grand Canal and thankfully a bit away from the crowds of St. Marco district, which is easy 10-minute walk away. Big room, marble-everywhere bathroom, comfortable bed, strong AC, BUT the carpet in room 101 should have been replaced 10 years ago. Guessing it used be white, but now it is gray-ish and covered in dark stains all over. Oddly, a porter entered the room "to check the minibar inventory" while we were in the room resting in the afternoon. Why the inventory count was not done during the cleaning earlier in the day??... Not a 5-star hotel category.
