There were pull down shades for privacy as needed. Having a washer and dryer in the unit with laundry soap provided was very helpful. "Stayed in the Peninsula Cabin with lovely water views through the trees from the veranda. Cabin was spotless. Nice little kitchenette, two bedrooms & spacious bathroom with spa bath. Separate shower with excellent water pressure. Fabulous gas fire heater that kept us warm at night. 5 min drive to Port Arthur Historic Sight. Loved the flora & fauna right at our back door, particularly the pademelons & bird life. Great walking track behind the property. Highly recommended."

I had just finished checking in and giving my credit card for a security deposit, when the owner told me that the water coming out of the pipes is not good, that it comes out brown and that I can shower without any problem but that I should not brush my teeth with that water.
