"We loved our stay at the Wilson Historic Home. It is absolutely beautiful and we found that we preferred to spend most of our time staying in and enjoying the home rather than go out and explore. We were a little nervous about the surrounding area but also realized we are from a small, rural town and were staying in a big city. We could hear entertainment from nearby restaurants and bars (as was mentioned in previous reviews); however, there must be a mouse curfew because all got quiet around 10...

"My family and I had no problems finding or checking into the property. The yard was beautifully maintained. However, once in the house, we discovered that the AC was not working properly. We contacted the owner who gave advice on how to set the thermostat, but when that didn't work she immediately sent someone to work on it. Repairs somewhat helped but did not completely solve the cooling problem. Other minor annoyances were several lights did not work in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as...

"Book this home, BLUEBIRD, and the DISCO SNAIL, across the street from each other. Our church group, 12 in total, were in Brimmingham for only a couple of nights for a conference at church of Highlands. The two homes enable us to use one for females and one for males. BlueBird was excellent with majority of the rooms upstairs giving us the ability to meet as a group downstairs before heading out to conference. EXCELLENT home."
