    The Batten Rental Cottage is located next door to the Property Management Office in the gated community of Pinehurst National No. 9. It has 4 bedrooms with x2 DOUBLE BEDS IN EACH BEDROOM, and 4.5 bathrooms - sleeps 8 or more guests.

    PLEASE NOTE - NO Pinehurst Country Club golf for Pinehurst Country Club golf courses can be booked with this rental. Please contact our Tee Times Manager in our office when you are within 6 months of your arrival date to assist you with the booking of your Tee Times at over 20 area courses including Pine Needles, Mid Pines, Mid South Club, Talamore, and Pinewild, just to name a few.


    Batten Cottage is a spacious and luxuriously furnished 4-Bedroom Cottage located on the 9th fairway overlooking a beautiful water view in a secure gated community. The Highly-acclaimed Pinehurst National No. 9 golf course is the only Jack Nicklaus signature-designed course in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. A Perfect location for your golf outing, the Batten Cottage features a large living and dining area, along with an outdoor patio; perfect for your evening barbecue! Their are 4 large master bedrooms, with x2 DOUBLE BEDS IN EACH BEDRROM, providing comfortable accommodations for 8 or more people, as well as full bathrooms in each bedroom including a half bathroom located in the hallway on the main floor. The Batten Cottage is adjacent to the Pinehurst National No. 9 Clubhouse and just steps away from the renowned Cornerstone Grill in the clubhouse at Pinehurst National No. 9. As no Pinehurst Country Club Golf Courses can be accessed to play with this rental our Tee Times Manager in our office will gladly arrange tee times on multilple golf courses throughout the Sandhill region.

Batten Cottage was perfect! The house was spacious and clean. Great for our group of 8 golfers. 4 large master BR each with 2 queen beds and full bath, perfect! Staff very helpful. Excellent time!

Great Place For a Golf Trip

Great rental for golf. Amazing golf very close by. Only bummer is not being able to play #9 which is the closest, but that’s at the discretion of Pinehurst Resort obviously. Not the property.

Golf trip—8 guys

We love Batten Cottage! Our 2nd stay…I would give it 5 stars again, but only some minor issues. The back sliding door can hardly open but the deck and view, seating is awesome. We love the location, quiet and clean. The bathrooms can use a little updating, our toilet didn’t flush well. Just little things, but overall a ton of space, we love the 2 beds in each bedroom. Hope to be back!

Batten Cottage is a Great Place to Stay!

The cottage is roomy and well-equipped. Location is close to all things Pinehurst! The pool is very nice and was never busy during our stay. Kim and Kathy from Pinehurst Realty were always available and very accommodating!

Perfect location and spacious house

This was the perfect spot for our whole family. We were visiting family that lives in National and this made the trip so simple. The rooms were big with private baths off of each which was a plus. The beds were comfortable and the house clean.
