Front desk was wonderful, we were there for a wedding and my spouse already left since they were in the wedding - I needed help zipping up my dress and they were so helpful and sweet. "What can I say? It was the most magical location to stay in in Florence. To be able to sit by the window and be part of the action of the piazza, but not be in the middle of the huddle and bustle, was amazing! Waking up every day to the beautiful Duomo and Baptistera…no words!!! The room was perfect as well. Bedroom away from the noise of the piazza, and sitting room near the action. "Beautiful room in a central location with all the main sights a short stroll away. Room well appointed with the most amazing double shower. On the top floor with amazing views from the outdoor terrace. Only drawback was the really loud industrial generator/air conditioner that is on another building behind the room that came on every 30 mins or so all through the night. Lift was out of service on the second day that we were leaving and was a nightmare to hump suitcases down 5 flights of stairs....

"Great hotel in Florence, Italy, Il Perseo is in a great location and makes a perfect homebase for sightseeing the city and excursions to the countryside. It's a 3 star hotel so its affordable but feels more like a 4 star hotel. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable, the views from the windows are nice, and they offer a really good breakfast with a lot of variety. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They offer laundry service at an incredibly low price."
