Had my doubts per previous review but clearly not everything you read is true. Had an amazing stay here. Everything was spectacular nothing short but an amazing stay.

Encanto Visit

Great location, fairly quiet for being so close to downtown. It has a large backyard. Inside is open concept from kitchen to living room.

For safety's sake do not rent this unit

The shower is dangerous. It's completely open with no enclosure whatsoever, no shower curtain, no handrail or grab bar, not even a non-skid mat. The tiles on the walls and floor are highly glazed creating a serious safety hazard for any guest. It is an accident waiting to happen. There are also loose electrical wall outlets throughout, one of which has an exposed wire sticking out from under the outlet cover. There are no clocks in the house. There are no nightlights either, dangerous for guests unfamiliar with the unit. It was easy to walk into a wall or furniture in the dark.This property looks clean in the pictures, but it's only surface-clean. First impression?, cobwebs around the front door. The digital entry-lock on the door was very difficult to work with; it took 8-10 tries before working. Inside: the air vent covers are coated with thick brown grease that make you wonder what the duct work behind them looked like and what quality of air you were breathing. The front windows are filthy. The oven is dirty, the dishwasher isn't working properly, leaving milky streaks on the dishes and, the refrigerator smells. Dishes and silverware were put away in the cabinets with crusted food on them. The barbeque grill was so neglected and dirty it was unusable. Insufficient number of saucepans. No nightstands in the bedrooms. No privacy curtain in the bathroom window. Only limited entertainment with a Roku television.We booked a 4 night stay and left after 2 nights. We notified the management company, Evolve, that we had vacated the property and a representative reached out to us by email stating they want their guests to have a five-star experience. I responded by calling the telephone number the rep provided and left a message. No one has returned my call; it's been two weeks now. A sad state of affairs considering that Evolve added additional fees to the rental amount that exceeded the owner's portion. Let the renter beware.
