Loved The Space

We enjoyed our 2 week stay. Everything was as described. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai after our daily adventures watching the golfers and soaking up the sun. Actually we enjoyed it so much, we booked it for next year.

Nice property - Beware of the fees

Everything went well. The house is nice, clean and a really nice location off of the 1st green/2nd tee box on the Riverview GC. My only issues are with the 200 nonrefundable damage fee and the list of check out items needed to be performed. Most rentals are moving away from a laundry list of tasks that need to be accomplished upon moving out. This one wanted all bedding removed and placed in a pile, all trash removed, fridge/freezer totally emptied dishes cleaned and put away. The last one is not realistic if you have an early flight and to be honest, having additional items to take care of makes the final day a bit more stressful.The damage charge, however, is really the biggest issue. We were charged over 200 which was known at the time of booking, so this was not a hidden fee. For some reason I assumed it was refundable if there was no damage. However, it is not. The reason given is that the "program is designed to protect both guests and owners. It ensures that any accidental damages that occur during a stay are covered without requiring guests to pay additional out-of-pocket expenses or security deposits". So, essentially they are collecting money just in case something happens and everyone pays for damage caused by any guests that stay there before you and in the future. If you are a conscientious and courteous guest, you will be subsidizing the damage done by others. In the future, I'll look for properties without these fees

The house is updated and clean located in a retirement community that is on a nice golf course. Some of the not-so-good things are: 1)Two of the bathroom sinks did not drain. 2) The TV service is limited to LG channels only, so we were not able to watch the Super Bowl. Big disappointment! 3) Sun City is pretty far west, not very convenient to the hub of Phoenix. 4) The Luke Air Force Base is located nearby, and jets fly over day and night. 5) Mowing of the golf course took place at 4 am on two mornings which caused more disruption to sleep.

Sun City Delight

The property was just as advertised. Backs up to the golf course. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and fresh. I highly recommend this property and will stay again next year.

Perfect Place

We loved everything about the house! It was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was a cook’s dream! As a cook it was stocked with everything needed to prepare dinner for our friends. They even had a small food processor and the knives were SHARP! The putting green was fun and we enjoyed mornings on the back porch. The bed and bedding were also top knotch. We slept great! The location was perfect with shopping and restaurants nearby. We will stay here again if in the area!

Clean and quiet property

This is a beautiful home to stay in with your family. It’s clean inside and outside. There’s a golf course in the back that the property sits on which was very fun for us to watch. It was always very quiet whenever we were at home and never heard the golfers or any traffic. We highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing Holiday

My family and I stayed at this lovely home while visiting my parents for Thanksgiving. It provided the additional space we needed for everyone to have their own bedroom. It was great that all three bedrooms have king size beds. The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. I would recommend the property.

Great home for our stay in the desert

We stayed in this home for a few days before staying with friends, and it worked well for the 2 of us. The home was recently renovated, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed sitting on the back patio, watching golfers each morning, and we loved the proximity to the grocery store and coffee shop (we walked there twice). There is only one TV In the unit and it's in the family room. Unfortunately only a few local channels were available (no cable or sports options - which is our only suggestion for improvement). As VRBO owners ourselves, we appreciate how much goes into a great rental experience, and we enjoyed our time at this home. We recommend this home and look forward to staying here again on a future trip to the greater Phoenix area.
