Dave’s place is great! It was very clean and a cozy and comfortable space for my child, who had to have surgery while visiting the area, to recover. You can’t beat the location- it’s close to absolutely everything. We used the laundry and that was great to have, as was having a bathtub. I rated our stay four stars instead of five stars because there were some things that were just very sparse: there was only one dish towel, only one set of bath towels per guest and they were very hard and cheap hotel like, there was no stopper in the bathroom sink and I caught several items before they fell down the wide-open drain, there were no tissues, no brochures for things to do in the area or a list of favorite restaurants in the area or menus. The kitchen was equipped with pots pans and dishes, but there were so few bowls and dishes that we constantly had to wash them and reuse. It would’ve been nice to have a few more. Also, it is fabulous that there’s a dishwasher, but it is extremely loud. I suggest running it when you’re going to be out of the house or just hand wash dishes. Don’t use the one dish towel to clean up a spill like I did. I had to do a load of wash to clean the towel so I could dry dishes. Also, there were no games or cards or anything. The beds are air mattresses on top of box springs. The queen size bed is more comfortable than the twins. One is very creaky. Overall, the stay was fine, but I just wish there were a few more accessories and real mattresses.
